We got sent two Freego DK200 ebikes so we put them through their paces. What do we reckon? is this ebike any good?!

Andy, you've knocked it out of the park this time, with this well done product review. The drone sequence combined with the highly energetic music was visually spectacular. It was such a great video, I had to watch it twice. Keep them coming! Cheers.

@@misterfreezer9895 I’m not too sure my works place is around 4 miles from where I live I charge the bike once a week and I mainly use 5 assist

I love the bike. I got it not too long ago. However, I can’t use the motor at the moment because of an “E 09” error message. I have to wait for a new controller to get it running again

Andy mate, hope you don't mine this but I don't know how else to contact you. The 9 pin plug on my etandem literally fell apart when I unclipped it.. any idea how I can splice in a new plug/socket if I don't now what wire is what.. cheers Andy

Are the wires still soldered to the pins? If so there should be still coloured sleeves on the wires. You can find the connector online and resolder the wires... OR cut the other connector off and there's a good chance the wire colours will be the same, you can just splice them.

@@andykirby nah the bloody thing fell apart and some of the pins have become unsoldered.. Thanks Andy. I'll just hope that the wires are the same colour on either end of the plug and socket, if they're not I'm screwed

@@andykirby I rode about 9-10 miles and saw I was about to lose a bar when I got back home, assuming your not trying to kill your ebike at full speed the whole time, with 6 bars in the battery and about 10 miles per bar, You get at least 50 miles out of this. Thats a lot. You can travel from 145th street to brooklyn bridge,, round trip,, 2 maybe 3 times before bingo charge. You might need to pedal some to get 3 round trips but Im sure you could do 2 round trips across all of Manhattan on the motor only. This is perfect for getting to work, avoiding traffic, and doing deliveries. For me (safely) weaving through traffic is the best part. Like yeah youre in a fancy car or SUV but your stuck in traffic bro.

Been loads of youtubers getting these in the states, good for a few days but a few with motor problems, most of thems been ditched.

Check out dillegal he had one lasted around 3 days, think the gears in the motor were stripping, nylon gears.

Nylon geared internals, no name bearings and gears. So repairs are nearly impossible without a motor swap. Unless they changed the drive unit and hub motor, I'd stay clear for now. Reviews on actual owner forums have been dodgy. I wish I was wrong, and please correct me if they addressed the issues.

Another KZfaqr reviewed the same bike. The motor was noisy and by the end of the video lost power and sounded like it was about to fall apart. Stay close to home 🏡

He must have not put it together right. The bikes we tested are just fine. I've tested a lot of Chinese bikes now and none have ever failed. The Chinese have been making ebikes for decades now.
