I live in Canada and these open kitchens are a huge pain for people who like to cook lots and for middle eastern/ Asian countries as our foods are spicy. The sitting area and the house starts to smell like food and if guests are coming over, everything is in open.

Hi, I live in the same building shown in the video and in a similar apartment . The ventilation system and kitchen in flat is designed in such a way that none of the smell while cooking spreads in sitting areas and neither is the kitchen visible to the guests seated in hall area . We were worried about this issue too but the building is constructed keeping these points in mind.

1, Service charges?. 2, What if we want to rent it out, any taxes costs? 3, Can we buy houses?. Does Oman allow us to have freehold business or is that only for Oman?

Service charges is calculated based on area of the flat You purchase but it is not very high. Yes you can buy and rent it out without tax Expatriates are allowed to buy apartment or retail outlets in free hold regions in Muscat such as Muscat hills

What is the price ? Is it life time visa?

Price ranges from 60K OMR to 100K OMR depending on the number of rooms, area of apartment and view it offers Since it’s a freehold property you can have the visa until you have the ownership of property however you will have to renew your card every 2 years by paying the minimal renewal charges but the visa will remain with you as long as you are the owner.

You just have to purchase a property in freehold region and you and your immediate family can get the residence permit

Walaikumussalam Price ranges from 50-60KOMR for 1bhk and price 70-100K for 2 bedrooms and more . Please note prices vary depending on apartment size , view etc

As you enter your kitchen is at entrance than sitting room which is not good at all. I think no one like kitchen at the door. We as Asians our culture does not allow us to make open kitchen they also on entrance? not good at all. Ask if any omani like this type of kitchen and any Indian citizen also. This concept came from Europe & adopted by Indian builder to save money only. Kitchen is a very private area where my mother my wife my daughters are always active than how they feel if they knows that we are in open area and any of our guest can see all our activities. 👎👎👎👎👎

Your concerns are correct but these flats are designed in a way so that people from hall cannot see what’s happening in the kitchen You can notice that only once u visit the flat . The privacy has been kept in mind during designing

Talking good way but not saying about price ? What kind of sales person you are ? When you go to Lulu market you are buying products without checking its price tag .? Do you think peoples can spend millions without knowing the price.? I think you don't know anything about real estate. I have spend 27 years of my life in oman in building construction and I know all plus minus of this country . Please give proper information to your would be Costomors. Thanks and Regards. S Hussain

@@pinkcity199 Sir, just so you know i was born in Oman, my family has been here since the last 40 years & I'm not the sales person for the company. The sole purpose of this video is to show how the building and flats look like and the facilities available in it. I just make videos about products,services and other travel activities which i experience I've mentioned in the video clearly that the prices of flats vary depending on the view it offers, area(size) of the flat etc. Since you've worked in civil line I'm sure you are aware how price varies which is why if i mention all different prices in the video then the video length gets very long. There's a particular format while making videos we follow. Towards end of the video I've given the respective sales person contact number and interested people have already called them and asked for prices.
