This battle was the best one of the season. Discord may have lost, but he saved Equestria and Fluttershy. Unfortunately, he only delayed the inevitable, because all it takes is one deal that’ll bring Bill Cipher back. Alex Hirsch truly made the ultimate villain in all of Disney history. Bill Cipher makes the movie villains look lame by comparison.

Bill won the battle, but Discord won the war. Discord is the only "loser" of Death Battle to get one over on the victor, which is really fitting for two opponents so evenly matched and whose feats could not be scientifically measured.

Interestingly, this being the 180th episode connects it with the fact that the sum of the interior angles of a triangle (which is the shape of Bill's body) is 180 degrees. Bill may have won the battle, but it seems that Discord achieved his goal as well. Unfortunately or fortunately, neither are gone for good. Bill will eventually escape from the Nightmare realm, and as a personification of Chaos, it's likely Discord will eventually reform as long as chaos exists. Unicorn hair isn't really a weakness, but it's able to be used as an ingredient to block Bill.

Fun fact. Discord is infact deliberately based off Q. They wanted to capture the aspect of Q that was fun loving random trickster. This in-turn led them to ask John DeLance to play him. Also during the battle, when the hand came out of the sock puppet to Snap that was a nod to Q who would snap to show he was using his powers.

This fight was a banger! At first, I was like "Did Discord win?" I was wrong and yet, oh so right. In fact, I was hype to know HE got the last laugh and saved Equestria from Cipher's wrath. "Die" the hero. If this was a canonical event, might even explain the bit with Izzy in G5 MLP in him returning centuries later

Discord may not be the first character on Death Battle to break the fourth wall, but he's definitely the first to USE the show to his advantage. In a series where everyone is just trying to kill their opponent, regardless of whether it makes sense or not, Discord uses this as a DISTRACTION to rescue not only his friends, but his entire universe. He was never trying to defeat Bill (although obviously, that would have been the best outcome), he was just trying to stop his wrath. Whilst Bill was focused on winning the Death Battle, Discord was focused entirely on winning the PLOT'S battle! And he succeeded!

This really was a Chaotic Death Battle and I Love It, in the End There’s not a Winner or Loser, yes Bill was too OP and did the Final Blow but Discord separated him from the Pony Realm Forever, a Heroic Sacrifice if you ask Me, at least the Fight was Fun and Hilarious with Chaotic Weirdest and a Amazing Song.

The best part of this battle, that both of those chaotic gods are lost and won at the same time. And also, both results(Bill`s stuck in Nightmare Realm and Discords death) are temporal. Bill will eventually find somebody to make a deal with and free himself and Discord will always exist, as long, as there`s chaos in the universe.

I do call BS on the stats of Discord at the end specifically the "Less Powerful" part. After all Discord created his OWN dimension, no seriously THAT is where his home is a dimension HE created. He also doesn't need someone to open dimension for him, he can just POOF there. While bill, he needs someone to open a door for him. Guess bill is too.. SHORT to reach the knob. Discord could also destroy a dimension like Bill did, and just remake it if he wanted too. While Bill... Yeah regrets destroying his home dimension but can't bring it back. For the next battle episode, I can tell that Alex mercer is going to die (Played prototype 1 & 2) for 3 main reasons. 1: His ultimate defensive ability is a hinderance to his mobility which most of his powers need his ability like his claws, & power arms (he goes from being able to jump ~50 ft to being able to reach the ceiling height of a 2-story building, also power arms just reinforce his throwing capabilities & punches). 2: He's weak to human technology (more specifically explosions, & gas). 3: It takes some time to absorb people into his body for health (he can absorb people with his hook ability but its limit to absorb more than one person is 5-7 people & that took him about ~3 minutes to fully digest them in his body & gain their memories). P.S. Alex can absorb people to gain their memories & body figure

Honestly this should've been a draw. However since this was the 1st champion's poll winner, and people hate draws in DeathBattle. They decided there had to be a winner. The thing is as a Brony I can correct the mistakes they made with 2 of Discord's "weaknesses". I apologize in advance if this sounds/reads rude, or takes up alot of time. 1. This will cover Discord's soul. When Starlight(the purple unicorn that hit him with the big blast) cast that spell it didn't destroy his body. Also, while it's never said in the show that his soul is immortal. It's never said that it isn't as immortal as his body. B. This'll cover him fading from existence. Discord can come back from complete destruction as long as chaos and disharmony exists, meaning both could return... just not quickly enough to continue the fight indefinetly.
