Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'ilmin la yanfa'u wa min qalbin la yakhsha'u wa min nafsin la tashba'u wa min da'watin la yustajabu laha
" O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge which does not benefit, from a heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allah), from a soul that is not satisfied and the supplication that is not answered.”
Allahumma, ‘aati nafsee taqwaaha, wa zakkihaa Anta khairu man zakkaahaa, Anta Waliyyuhaa wa Maulaaha
O Allah, grant my soul taqwa and purify it, You are the Best of those who purify it, You are its Protecting Friend and Guardian/Master.

Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) guided me through this video. A few months earlier I only prayed after my mom screaming at me and would probably cheat in fasting by drinking. When I saw this video I realised by the mercy of Allah how I wasn't practising my religion and the worst thing was that I kinda knew about 20 juz' by heart. Alhamdulillah, today I pray the five daily prayers at the time and most of it at the Masjid. The solution for people who aren't practising Islam is to just start praying or fasting, etc. With Allah's mercy/guidance, you will be more practising and religious.

He has succeeded who purifies it (SURAH ASH SHAMS VERSE 9) This is the actual verse ustadh Nouman Ali Khan is talking to. I thought it was Al-Baqarah 222 Allah loves those who repent and Allah loves those who are engaged in purifying themselves. Its a reminder why we should be going to that special path... of repenting. and repenting...and repenting... until we hate that sins so much. that we forgone it. May Allah make it easy and may Allah accept it from us.

May ALLAH reward you for your quality efforts لدي ملحوظة صغيرة: حبذا لو استطعتم مراجعة كلمة "زكا" في أول الفيديو. أعتقد أنها تكتب "زكى"، يزكي تزكية. هذا من باب الإتقان فحسب :) كما علمنا رسولنا الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم في الرواية (ولا أتذكرها جيدا) عن المرأة التي كانت تشجع المجاهدين وسط الغزوة وكان لسانها يخطأ لسوء نطق عندها ،وكان الرسول صلعم يصحح لها رغم أنهو وسط القتال! والله أعلم. ثبت الله خطاكم.
