We begin our tour with a short walk around the town of Windsor, the part that has grown up in the shadow of the castle. We will then visit the Lower Ward of the Castle, home to the Order of the Garter and where the Changing of the Guard usually takes place, all before we walking through the stunning St. George's Chapel, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married.
Next, we will pass the Round Tower on to the Upper Ward, where we will explore some Royal history as well as the State Rooms of Windsor Castle, all before taking in the Quadrangle where we will witness a mini guard change. We then end the tour at the Long Walk.

Each time I see a photo of Windsor I remember a story about a comment heard by Prince Philip made by a visiting tourist. The woman wondered why they had built the castle so close to the airport, when you could hear several of the flights directly overhead. Apparently Prince Philip found it quite amusing, as he repeated the incident to others

I live 20 mins away. It’s always lovely to go round. Especially as a history nerd! Even walking by the river feeding ducks outside the castle grounds or going round the Windsor savill gardens on bikes its lovely and never gets old

Thank you for this amazing tour, as living in the U.S., I have only seen Castles in paintings or history books ….but, seeing them up close is breathtaking ….the vastness of the Castle and grounds is beyond what I would have imagined …Thank you again, Great Tour ❤️

Thank you for a wonderful tour and just perfect for those of us who are missing the opportunity to travel. I have visited Windsor Castle twice, the first time was while the restoration was happening after the fire. At the time it was devastating to see the damage and many of the works of art in the surrounding rooms had been moved to safety. One of my lasting impressions was what on the walls behind where the paintings normally hung in the Waterloo Chamber. When the paintings were removed for safe keeping during WW2 the spaces were filled with colourful drawings, commissioned I believe by a young Elizabeth. When I returned almost 20 years later it was amazing to see the rooms restored to their former beauty but I couldn't help but remember what lay behind the art masterpieces. I loved your tour. It was amazing to see the castle minus the crowds so you could really appreciate its magnificence.

I was amazed at the actual size of the castle because the views we see on the tv don't show how far this goes thank you Sinead for this very interesting tour it has made me want to actually go and looks around myself 👍

I love this video more than the Hampton Court edition. I wish Sinead did the Hampton Court video because her communication and explanation skills are second to none.

Incredible tour for the Windsor castle!!! How much things there I could see. The old structures, the gardens, the paintings, etc. Without words, Sinead each time surprise us with your tours. I will go watch again. 🤩👏👏👏

Very engaging! I felt like I was there. Such a nice thing you do, especially for those of us who probably will never have the chance to visit the UK. it is the next best thing. I've seen many pictures of the area, but to have a walking tour while showing the smaller shops and areas that most people might not.....it's like walking through my own city. I can imagine myself there and it's very real. Thank you!
