The hearings were broadcast prime time and the indictment is publicly available for a reason. After all of this time, have you not asked yourself why his evidence has not been provided to you or why the GOP Congress has not investigated? Fox would give him hours to give his evidence for dead people and non-citizens voting, the ballot dumps, voting machines, criminal election workers. All of it. Has Fox spent a minute, a second, going over the details in the indictment? Kinda important to refute charges against their candidate. Ditto with the classified documents case.

I voted Biden but defended Trump against a lot of silly criticisms. I also argued that any Republican would have appointed 3 conservative judges and roe v wade would be lost anyway. But the election denialism was truly unforgivable.

Fox’s call turned out to be accurate, but to be fair it was kind of a premature call at the time. I live in AZ and it is a big mail in voting state. Even Republicans here have traditionally voted by mail over the years. The main in votes that had yet to be counted skewed heavily in Trump’s favor. Biden had 200k vote lead and in the end it narrowed down to about 10k. Most unbiased elections analysts agreed that it was probably best to leave it in the too close to call column for at least a few days.

Most people agree, but the EC system benefits the political parties enough that neither would want to give it up. It would be logistically and strategically difficult to run a campaign based on nationwide popular vote in such a massive country. The EC system means they only have to focus on a few swing states, which makes their campaigning process much simpler.

The fact that you can win the popular vote by 3-5 million votes but still lose the election is a travesty. 💀

Mostly blue states. Besides the fact that the popular vote would make elections more fair, Dems are in favour of abolishing the EC - because there is not really a conservative (or at least the US understanding of conservatism) majority in the US.

Popular vote just determines the raw votes. The US has the electoral college which makes the states vote, not the people. In this case, a candidate has to win 50% of the population in a state to get all of the electoral votes. This can help and hurt both parties. The Dems control California, despite a large GOP presence in the north of the state. The GOP has Texas, despite of heavy Dem pressure in the big cities.

it's not completely irrelevant but the popular vote option is not always the best alternative. The issue is there's a lot of people out there that simply doesn't who their truly voting for nor what their talking about. I've seen a lot of individual interviews when their asked the simple question who their voting for and why. You'd be surprised how many doesn't provide just a simple answer and evidence to back up their claim.

You clearly don’t know how voting occurs nor is counted. Each state is different. Any mailed in ballot, international or local can be counted after Election Day depending on the state as long as its post marked on Election Day.
