The food we eat almost every day is pretty much prepared in factories before it comes to us. In 1809, Nicolas Appert invented a hermetic bottling technique that would preserve food for French troops. This gave the ability to preserve soups, fruits, and dairy products, among other foods. We can say that this was one of the big steps in the food industry. Another big step was in 1864 when Louis Pasteur discovered pasteurization. This method uses heat to destroy pathogens in milk, juice, wine, and beer. Aqui no Brasil as grandes marcas como Seara, Sadia e Aurora, vendem peixe, frango e carne congelados, e não se dão ao trabalho de cortar em tamanhos prontos para o consumo, acaba que temos que cortar com dificuldade o alimento congelado, tirando toda a vantagem do produto congelado que poderia ir direto um forno, AirFryer, frigideira!

Спасибо большое автору за интересные подборки. На это можно долго смотреть. С такой техникой очень приятно работать, да и результат получается приятный. Поражает, конечно, инженерная мысль человека - такие машины сначала нужно придумать, а затем и сделать. Вот интересно есть ли что-то подобное в природе? Например корова, ест траву, а даёт молоко. Или пчела, пьёт нектар, а даёт мёд. Получается, раз машины кто-то придумал и сделал, то живые творения, с такими удивительными способностями, тоже кто-то должен был придумать и сделать?! "Невидимые качества Бога ясно видны с того времени, как был создан мир, и мы можем увидеть их, рассматривая его творения. Все они свидетельствуют о его вечной силе и служат доказательством того, что он Бог. Поэтому тем, кто не хочет этого замечать, нет оправдания" (Римлянам 1:20).

I just wish the workers had more hair covering, masks, gloves and full body covering to make everything *seem* more hygienic. It makes me uncomfortable to think someone just walked in off the street and started working with food!!! The ones who are wearing protective gear seem more professional... and responsible.
