Yea, I bought a 2004 F-150 Crew with 10K miles for 30K in 2004. You couldn't touch one today for under 75K. The ones they're showing are probably 150K.

That truck you keep showing is way over $8K, more like $80K! A friend has one that's used to pull a "big" camper was over a $100K new but that was loaded with options. I don't see how you can build and sell something the american market would buy for $8000, maybe $28,000 and that's a big maybe!!

There's no truck, I work at their Cleveland nc plant, and we build cabs for the portland oregon plant and Mexico plants. I've heard absolutely nothing about a small truck.

I've driven the Freightliner cascadia as a professional truck driver and they are nice . The consumer grade version of a Freightliner pickup truck is 🤯 . I want one . If it's anything like it's commercial grade big brother by all means sign me up. It's different. It's not like any of the other trucks from a consumer perspective. Can't wait. I'm saving my pennies now

What I would like to see is two base models, one a 4 CYL manual transmission equipped single cab, 6 foot bed truck with no factory installed AM/FM radio, no fancy electronic guide systems, a simple truck with wind up windows, second model extended cab, with a small V6 and optional V8 wind up windows, no radio auto trans optional and the dealer could install the radio . Body one color, bed, just a plain 8 foot bed. make many of the options dealer available, not factory installed A/C would likely have to be factory, or equip the base cooling systems of all models to accept aftermarket A/C units. Make power steering and some other things that do not affect overall drivability optional and dealer installable. Make it a truck for the warehouse worker who needs to get to work, not the CEO's child who never had to work in his or her life. They could option it out, but the base machine ( made in America or Canada) would come "ready to assemble" from a base truck to a fancy 2WD truck. YES, I skipped the 4WD and AWD configuratons intentionally, DEAL WITH IT YUPPIES and lazy people!!

Every major manufacturer has announced some $10000 range truck. But I think we all know it isn't goingto happen in real life. Your price quotes are way below what they're actually going for. I see common F-150's and Silverados in the $45k+ range. If they make a quality $10k truck, theen people will realize three's no reason they should be spending $45-90k on a truck no matter the size.

There is no reference to any Freightliner pickup on any of their websites or press releases. Even the pricing quoted in this video is inaccurate. You cannot touch a new pickup for under $50K. Add a couple options & it's $90K. Your 1st clue this video is a hoax is they never actually show a Freightliner pickup truck. There isn't one.

i want a new truck that does not require me to remortage my home. 10k out the door all cost covered is ok. all the fancy electronics who needs it, one more expensive thing to break. AC & Heater good manuel parking break . Solid auto tranny and a comfortable ride.

I trust Freightliner, but $8000.00 for a new pickup truck, seems to good to be true, especially considering the actual cost of basic Ford F 150 is around $60,000.00 , Chevy 1500 Silverado begins around $ 55,000.00 can't say about the Dodge Ram as I don't know the current base price.
