Hello James, keychain really turned out cool. Looks like that hood cable is a necessity. Bad thing with those cables is if just a touch too short it stresses where it connects to the hood. Too long gets it to the engine compartment. I don’t remember seeing one done quite that way tho. Most of them I’ve seen the cables hooked on each side of radiator support. But I really only ran 2 of those FLDs. It’s coming along really well it’ll be out rolling around making money in no time. Stay safe

Nice thing about having a good many trucks are they are a virtual manual to look and see how something is working. So you have your own DOT numbers now or working on that one yet??

James just a thought will structural panel bond not work on the area that is delaminating. Structural panel bond is different to normal panel bond. They use it on some Porsche models.

Hey James the next thing that you ought to keep your eye on is a man lift, that way you can work on your engines and windshields a lot more easier for you...just saying. Btw i love the trucks that you are getting, and the tow bar sets the bar, roll wit it!

The ride that got the two air bags may be a candidate for a full frame alignment. Looks like the major rear chassis suspension brackets have seen a wrench or two. A cheap date for the expensive parts you are installing.

There is a salvage company in Salisbury pa. He had 20 or so flds n hir fleet now he's parting them out his name is hank oester at southside salvage it would be something to check out

Which one needs more overall repairs, 12 or 13? It's probably hard to determine, since they have different needs.

Hey James, are you planning to stretch any of the frames? I personally prefer the original lengths. I see a few trucks here in Atlantic Canada with stretched frames, but not very many. It seems to be more popular there in the US for some reason.
