LOQUAT tree! I had one in my garden in Los Angeles. These fruits are supposed to be super healthy for the liver and endocrine system as far as I know. Too much though can make you drowsy and sleepy. Which might be good to know so as to not eat a lot before driving or working. It makes an amazing jam or on fruit tartes.

So lovely to see a medlar tree and they are here but not seen that often. Older houses often have them as non disturbed gardens. How fun to make your dining area - you don't waste time putting that together. Beautiful and simple and fun to play around with cushions and change colours and you can have an extra sleeping area if needed :-)

Isn't it called a banquette? Storage useful too. Suits all. Throws and blankets good on it too for cooler eves. Sheepskin rugs look lovely on them as gets colder. When I first visited Greece and Italy in 1967 it was a wonderful experience to be surrounded by buildings and streets that were so old.
