Many of Dimash's songs have wonderful stories behind them. The sound you heard was Ululation (in English) and you can hear it in many Arabian songs and movies, like Lawrence of Arabia. There is also a version of it in African songs, but it is not the same as it is done with rapidly vibrating the tongue instead of the vocal chords.
