Thank you for sharing these insights, I was and often am curious about how people get to where they are. I'm a bit addicted to remodel videos, especially in Europe and how so many people are uprooting from their home countries to somewhere different, because it's something I've been doing for most of my life, when often it seemed I was the only one around for 100s of kilometers doing these things and how the back home people always thought I was really bizarre... well now it seems there are a lot of us, with all the tribulations about languages, the bureaucracy and different rhythms and ways of doing things... there will never be any boredom or complacency when you jump into another culture! 😂 Btw I do love your style, very relaxed french country with light bright earthy tones so I hope you do find favor in your interior design expectations. Your style is for me, quite appropriate for a French country life... seems a perfect fit Marloes and it's so much fun watching the progression! 🙂

I really enjoy your videos as they take me to Burgundy where I too own a vacation house ( in the Morvan). I would love to live there full time but my husband's and my careers are not easily movable (université and hospital). So I get to be there a little more often thanks to your films. Thank you for that. We are also renovating an old stone farm and I am frustrated because I do not speak dutch so cannot understand Olav's videos and follow the progress... would love to have a little more of that in your vidéos!

I have a life similar to yours except I live in Central Alberta where the oil industry and factory farming makes the most noise. Venturing out is an assault, whereas in France, it appears that the natural world is being respected. Thank you for sharing your effortful life.👋😍🇨🇦
