A 'friend' who can't show at least a little empathy and kindness during your struggle is not your friend. Your plants are beautiful and I wish I lived in a climate to have a bounty of succulents like yours -- thanks for sharing with us! Keep doing your best to take care of yourself and moving forward ❤

Sadly, in the world we now live in, we still have to be civil to such people. I was able to hole her off for a couple of years and now have to do that again for the next couple of years again. 😔 Thanks for watching, Lauren and have a fantastic weekend! 🥰

One thing I found entertaining me the most during this last two months is your channel. If this acquaintance comes by and insults your garden but asks you for more succulents, I would call her a frenemy😒 Your garden is beautiful and she's probably just jealous. Not many people can keep a beautiful succulent garden and a KZfaq channel while also looking after their husband who is ill with cancer, and then continue to keep your garden and KZfaq channel going after he passes away. You have a lot of strength and that woman is envious. Love you, Liz💜 keep up the great work and never lose your beautiful heart!!

I’ve watched many people in this platform doing their plant things. You are helpful and funny to watch. It’s an amazing collection too. Plants are therapy and they do help with grieving. People’s opinions are not important, I only give plants to people I know will take good care of my babies. Have as much fun as you can and enjoy your new life. Your hubby will always be in your heart and mind. Hopefully Pedrito is feeling better❤❤❤

A person who lacks the sensitivity to know what you are going through and how difficult it must be to even keep urself from not going under with all tat you have been going through and then the ultimate loss.. is not a friend. For sure. I wonder why people have to have an opinion about everything. I still think u have a collection that rivals anybodys. And there r times when even the garden reflects the pain u have gone through. But somewhere spring will come again. I saw some glorious yellow blooms . Daffodils? I dnt know what they are. You are doing your best. I have seen ur garden at its best. Form is temporary. Class is permanent. A bit relieved to see baby P rallying around a bit. Lots of love and prayers sent for both of u. I would not be friends with that person. As the years have gone on, I have weeded out people like that from my life. I’m about to be 46 and literally only have only a few, less than a hand count that are good friends in my life. I’ve had a ton of “fake friends” and acquaintances over the years. But now I just don’t have the time or want to have those kinds of people in my life. You deserve better Liz. That frenemy is just USING you for you beautiful succulents. If she was a REAL friend she would be HELPING YOU and not expect anything in return. She would actually be there through the bad and good and would not say such inconsiderate things. She would KNOW the reason and be understanding. I say ditch that “friend”. She’s not worth your precious time. ❤ You!!!!!!!

Hi Liz, I’ve followed you for many years. I’m so sorry for your lost. Have you considered a control temperature greenhouse for your precious succulents. It’s really heartbreaking to loose all these beautiful plants every winter. I know as I lost 99% of my stock in one winter here in Scotland. We really don’t have the weather for succulents outdoors. I’m hopeful that I’ll get my greenhouse soon.

Sounds a lot like jealousy to me. Shame on her. Most likely just looking for free plants 🙄. Some people don't feel good about themselves unless they are making others feel bad.
