That thing looks great with the Madcap body on it and the livery is perfect. The Topforce body was always horrible looking, but now suddenly I want one. Great job on the build!

Great video, love your work. I love how many people are working to make the top force /manta ray even better than the original. It does make me wonder though. How come nobody has come up with a slipper clutch so far??

Because of the design of the Top Force gearbox, if you want to design a slipper clutch, you must destroy the gearbox. This is difficult for most consumers.Thank you for watch.☺

Ok but if you did destroy the gearbox, how would you do it? I’ve often thought the spring and nut would have to go on the motor side of the gearbox.

In the video I used PR large bore shocks. But I should always use ae large diameter shock absorbers in the future haha

Great driving, I already purchased one of your conversion kits but haven't got around to do the conversion yet. What turn motor do you run in your car? And how do the gears usually hold up without a slipper on your astro?

Thank you for support first. I use Hobbywing's Justock 13.5T combo set (marked in the video). The gears are original. There are currently no problems. They are operating normally.😁

Haha. If by professional you mean I had to pay alot of money to drive toy cars over the last 40 years then yes, I'm a professional. 😂 I've turned a few laps in my day but never got paid for them.

I know if this was the UK they'd be some upset drivers loosing to Tamiya from the 80s 😂😂❤ Other than the shocks and Hardwear did you change anything else?

Top force needs more castor, lower axles, stronger crash resistance and a slipper.

Which means a different car. I had the original one in the early 90s and it was fun on the streets, but at the dirt track it just couldn't keep up with 2WD AE, Losi, and Traxxas (TRX3). And the plastic gearbox diff covered cracked often.
