When the restaurants ask you to do a review, tell them that you do reviews with the agreement of the exchange of an honest review for a complementary visit. Like you said, most business people understand the value in business interactions.

I totally get you on realizing your mistake and just paying without confrontation. I went to an expensive hotel with my mom and when we got to the room we ordered a bowl of soup and a bottle of wine. My mom was like “oh the wines $13!” We should’ve realized that didn’t seem right. So the snobby waiter brought the table with the soup and wine and when I opened the bill fold, I saw the wine was $130! I showed it to my mom and she was like “woah woah woah. We made a mistake. We thought it was $13!” And the guy was super rude and annoyed. He took the wine back and brought the one glass of wine for $13 and I still tipped him well. But honestly, looking back I wish I would’ve just chalked it up to our mistake, paid it and enjoyed it Bc confronting him, as genuinely sorry we were, they made it uncomfortable and kind of ruined our little predinner snack/wine.

I love ur Filipino reviews, ive been searching and searching for a Filipino restaurant. I even drove 2 hours to try one and the food was okay/edible but the portion size was literally a cup of food one for my self and one for my daughter and 5 limpia rolls. Our bill was $50. I could not believe it. I will continue to search for a Filipino restaurant that serves the amazing food I see you eat. BTW I absolutely love u and steven. I would comment more, however I watch on TV and I can not figure out how to comment unless it on my phone. But keeping doing u. My day would not be the same with put starting it out with u. Marketing suggestion. BGA, my advice to you would be to create a template/generic WRITTEN contract which acts as your agreement . Not only does this act as proof but it makes everything less casual and more binding. In the contract you can mention, clear as day, how your promotion of the restaurant will be compensated by being given free food for review. You can have it setup where you receive whatever they wish to serve (on the house ofc) or there be a financial limit for your visit (like $100 free while you're there). Mention to them that you'll give an HONEST review so to please be prepared for whatever you mention in the video. This makes both parties bound by contract. Honestly, if a company is trash, they should be aired out, but I understand where you're coming from. I have a business and I'm a professional so I see deals go south and it's usually because people are timid/docile or don't want to be perceived negatively. This is your JOB, get your coin like Mama Appetite said.

I totally feel the same way about not dealing with bullshit anymore, I've had to cut off my Narcisstic Dad and my older sister and now my younger sister after Christmas 2019, because I told her kid not to touch my cat, which everyone knows, doesn't like to be touched BUT he couldnt help himself, my sister lost her shit which was the last Christmas dinner we had as a family and my stepdad was sick which we found out after Christmas.....and he died this past May, Im the middle child and have always been the peace maker, I cant do it anymore, fuck them, its not worth my sanity to keep kissing anyones ass anymore. My life is much more peaceful now.
