Shirazi salad, made with fresh tomato, red onion, and spices, is the perfect Mediterranean side dish! Pairs quite comfortably with fish or chicken, or wine and pita and hummus which btw hummus and roasted garlic is amazing and life changing do yourself the favor. This is a super healthy, SUPER TASTY MEDITERRANEAN SALAD!

Recipe:
2-4 Roma Tomatoes
2-4 Persian Cucumbers
1/4 Red Onion
Dash Oregano
Dash Turmeric
Dash Coriander
Dash Cumin
Dash Red Wine Vinegar
Dash Olive Oil
Squeeze of Lemon Juice
Steps:
1. Chop the Roma tomatoes to small cubes
2. Thinly slice the cucumbers and quarter them (they should be roughly the same size as the tomatoes)
3. Thinly slice the red onion and let rest in water for 30 minutes to remove bitterness
4. Mix vegetables with spices, vinegar and olive oil
5. Finish with squeeze of lemon juice. Serve cold.
