I have one on order, just waiting for it to ship! I generally use smaller mice, like the Viper Mini or Glorious Series One Pro, so this will be a change for me. Curious how it'll stack up! A buddy of mine ordered one as well, he uses the Model D as his main, and is looking to upgrade. I'm hoping this will be a good shape for him!

I have to ask this: were you saying in the video that the Stormbreaker was a similar size to the regular Xlite v2 or the mini?

Wasn't the Stormbreaker originally going to be 60+ grams? Not really a big deal really. It was the $180 price tag that kept me away. This colorway could look good with my board and keycap setup. (Shurikey 65% tan/green with YMDK Rainbow Carbon keycaps).

Nice review. Besides the middle to the M1 feel more aggressive compared to EC3, how is the middle to the backside of the mouse? Does it feel more of a palm-filling compared to the EC3? Thanks.

That colour way is 🔥 So this is the mouse where you were having DPI issues on stream? Good to hear they fixed that with the firmware update. €199 in EU as well compared to the €180 Zowie series 🤔

Taking it out of the box and just looking at it at first you might miss it. The first few seconds of having it on your pad though you should recognize very noticeable drag. It was very obvious they had film when swiping

Magnesium won't affect your aim. The shape, sensor position, sensor itself and weight will affect your aim.

How do you find using polling rate above 1khz in Apex? I was testing 8khz this week and I had to do quite a lot of tweaking before I could use it in Apex without it effecting frametime/fps.

8khz on my DAV3 works great in Apex. No issues here.

@@heatnup6899 win11 had an update recently which specifically stated an improvement for high polling rate so that definitely helped. I received my M2K recently and monitoring frame time in Apex it definitely wasn’t as smooth as using 1khz. Works fine in Kovaaks, just in Apex. But I’d also heard of a few people having issues with certain games using DAV3/Viper. Some of it is problem system dependant too.

@@Inconsistense definitely system dependent. I saw somewhere that 9th gen intel and ryzen 5000 are the oldest cpus that support high polling rate.

The problem is not using any polling rate above 1khz. The problem is 8khz. Some people solve the issue by lowering the polling rate to 4khz or 2khz, which should already be more than good enough.

@@JaimeRosario884 If your system can't run 8khz that means you need to upgrade your CPU for it. At this point I have 0 issues in 0 games with a 13600k and 8khz.

I guess it's shape are copy of Ultra Custom Wireless Ergo Gen 2,which will cause forefinger incline to mouse wheel other than left button,if you like palm grip.

Wdym, the shape and overall size is nearly identical aside from a couple of minor differences such as the hump, but overall very similar

adjustable sensor position sounds like a nightmare to me. i already over think whether i need to change dpi and in game sens, if i had to think to myself, "maybe if i tweak the position ill get it just right" id lose my mind. lol

I hate the current ergo market, they are all kind of EC clones. I am a huge fan of Finalmouse Classic Ergo (similar to the Razer Imperator shape) this is my favorite mice of all time among the 50 I owe. I would love to see it back in the market (deep thumb groove and a sharp and high front ledge which helps a lot for stability). I did not see anything coming close to that yet, e.g: G502 and Razer Basilisk, they both have very different feeling to the Finalmouse and I hated it

IDK .. it reminds me of a Pulsar Xlite X2 which quite honestly I don't use that much, the shape is okay. It's not about money per se it's more about wasting it. My most used mice are a pair of custom GPX Superlights, it's my most favorite shape for my hand. The best shaped ergonomic for me was the original Death Adder and its V2, but the V3 is something else all together? And I'm not a huge fan. Also the NEW Carbon Fiber Finalmouse in "large" @ 29g+ is right around the corner in **5 Days!** My thoughts are that I'll wait until the 2nd/3rd batch of these and then possibly buy one.

finally some love for ergo, after years of g703 from logitech, deathadder, and then pwnage ergo, then pulsar V2, finally, after all the finalmouse/razer magnesium mouse, it is our turn. logitech is missing out huge by not having a successor of the g703 to fill in the ergo department. (as they have superlight for the symm users). I really want to get the mouse so hopefully all the review can focus on the build, especially QC, and lastly performance(we all know this one it is super good). But the quality of the mouse is what i came here for, Pwnage wasnt known for the best quality, and the ergo didnt give me any confidence, since the ergo was also under many other brand shows it is just a OEM design, that kinda a red flag for me for this company.

I am still debating whether to get this or the upcoming Finalmouse Ultralight X. I am leaning toward the final mouse because it's only something like 10 dollars more, and it's so much lighter. it will also be easier to obtain because it will be mass produced, and I don't really like ergo mice, I prefer symmetrical mice. it oddly feels more natural and much more comfortable for me, Idk why lol

Sensor adjustment is a good feature, but magnesium for a 51+/- g mouse is a bit concerning, all that weight reduction doesn't seem worth the price tag that comes with it.

can't understand why companies sacrifice a lower weight for gimmicks like sensor positioning/weight distribution.... they could easily save ata least 5g+ and you have less mechanics that might break one day
