I started my interest in fish with sticklebacks in Essex drainage ditch 😊👍🏾

Very nice you took this 73 year old irishman back a bit to when I was a small boy and was shown how to catch Sticklebacks with a rush and a small worm impaled on the end! I had to let the little fish suck up the worm before lifting him out of the water into my jam jar! I then progressed to a high tech bamboo rod and a bent pin hook! It got to be a habit I'm still fishing out here in New Zealand! Cheers Morry

I think that the point where you have been filming where there are steps into the river is where the old Lidl or swimming pool used to. Thank you for another interesting video

Great video.. I love fish. I've done scuba dives in a few UK lakes and quarrys. Can't beat bumping in to a big pike they don't seemed bothered by you at all....

Thanks! Yes, I couldnt get any more footage of the pike, some people came past in a canoe and scared it away. Hopefully over the next few weeks I will be able to get some good footage of them to include in my next videos. Cheers

Thanks Andy. Yes I plan on making more underwater videos soon. I am not sure whether to do individual habitats in the same style as this, covering several species or do shorter videos on individual species. Or I could do both of course... You would be very surprised regarding the cameras I use (I have 2) but they were not expensive at all. Cheers, Liam.

Great footage enjoyed watching it thanx for sharing I managed get a bit of underwater footage of a resident pike under a bridge was not bothered much about being filmed only when I went really close to it did it slowly swim off 👍👍

Thanks for the kind comment, the camera I use for underwater is very similar to a go-pro, I cant remember the exact brand but i'll find out and get back to you. I usually stick it on the end of a long pole but ive been toying with other ideas to give me better range. Cheers

Thank you. This was filmed just using one of them cheap HD sports cameras in a waterproof case. If you type in HD sports camera there will be lots to choose from. The problem is you have to film blind with them, not knowing what is infront of the camera. I am getting a endoscope soon to try to use for underwater filming, I can let you know how that goes if you like?

@@NewnameSameme in my opinion it is almost as good quality as the go-pro and costs a lot less (the one I use costs about £18). Cheers
