Having been a member of David's Fingerstyle Five membership for almost 3 years I'm able to learn most of these lessons much faster than before because of his small/slow isolated practice suggestions. Being a huge Beatles fan and seeing them at the Cow Palace in 1965 (I could barely see or hear them) I'm loving the "Can't Buy Me Love" fingerstyle version. I WILL learn that and figure out the rest of the song using David's methods for learning each part separately and then combine them by coordinating my digits which don't fight each other as much as they use to. David's a world-class player and world-class teacher. I HIGHLY recommend checking out his Fingerstyle Five membership. It's the most FUN I've had learning guitar.

Love playing in C! You can also slide or hammer on from Eb to E on the D string as part of your bass pattern, or play a quick hammer on G Ab A on the G string. The more you play around, even on just one chord, the more possibilities open up.

I love that little bluesy snippet of “Can’t buy me love”! I’d like to hear more conversions of pop songs to bluesy. After you prime the pump, I’m hoping I can start making some of those conversions myself. Thx
