The healing of the leper teaches us that God is concerned about all and will reach out and touch them in times of need. We, too, have no other hope except the Lord to heal us. Like the leper, we too, can approach our Lord with humility and faith and ask Him to heal us, both physically and spiritually. Thank you Fr. Warner for today's reflection. God bless and heal you. AMEN!

Thank you Fr for your striking message. Yes when we are desperate, weighed down, we tend to snap at others. We cannot allow the way we feel, determine how we treat others. May the Lord bring healing to the leprosy of our hearts. And in His mercy bring healing to our bodies too.

Contemplate and Sin Colony are benchmark for reflections in prayers,to evaluate my relationship with God and others. Contemplation I learnt in my retreats with Fr Jerry D'Souza SJ, he was my Spiritual Director/Father from 2007 onwards also cultivated a habit of having one confessor if possible to assess how have my journey been on quarterly basis. To be frank I had this attitude,it is okay if I don't go for confession, God has been gracious to bless me with very inspiring and motivating mentors on my earthly pilgrimage, you have been one of them. It is a process, intially difficult to follow but not impossible, Our Lord heals you if we surrender to Him. Inward journey is very important,we hold too much in our heart and mind, to be cleansed. Today's teaching was eye opener for me,how, where, what, why, whose, who I am..... God bless you

Thank you Fr.Warner for your meaningful faith filled teaching. Jesus, the Messiah of the Word, is also the Messiah of the Deed. Miracles of Jesus are given to us to strengthen our faith and especially for reflection in our moments of desperation and helplessness. It is incumbent that the virtue of humility must be reflected when praying. Jesus says,"a humble and contrite heart I will not spurn." With this assurance of Jesus let us approach Him with a contrite heart and pray with humility and confidence, like the leper, "Lord, if you choose, you can make me clean. Apart from physical healing let us pray to the Lord for spiritual healing, especially sins that we find difficult to give up and that shames us when we enter the presence of the Lord's house. Let us make an effort and cry out to the Lord in total surrender and humility,"Lord, if you choose you can make me clean and we will hear Jesus saying, "OFCOURSE, I CHOOSE.... God bless you Father for this indepth teaching and grateful for your concluding prayers and blessing that strengthens us.😮

Dear Fr Warner, thank you for your very moving reflection. In describing the healing of a man with leprosy, you go deep into the inner psyche of desperation - when a person is focused only on the reality of his sickeness. So many of us have experienced these moments of darkness. Like the leper, we need to pray to God in all humility & believe that He will cleanse & heal us - for only Jesus can give our lives clarity, meaning & hope. Your blessing & beautiful prayer gives us the peace we need. God bless & keep you well. Goa does agree with you! 💕🙏🏻

Thank you Fr. for your preaching on how Our Lord cleans the person who begs the Lord to clean him from his leprosy if HE wishes! Relating the same for us who lives in the 'Sin Colony'. Thanks for your Prayers and Blessings. God Bless you.

Today's reflection was really moving. In desperation, nothing good comes out of it, the good comes when we stay calm and surrender the intention to God. He always knows how to address it in the right time and gives the best back in return. This also applies to healing. Often I want God to heal me the way I want without realizing that He is that scan that heals areas in addition without our knowledge, only I have to place my 100% plus trust in Him. Thank you for restoring the prayer at the end of the reflection Fr. Warner. It is really wonderful.

Peace, Fr Warner. 🙏 I'm moved by your message to go to confession ASAP. But, what was the gift that Moses commanded? I looked it up to share....Jesus gave the healed man one more command. He told him to go show himself to the priest and offer the gift of a sacrifice commanded by Moses. That sacrifice included "two live clean birds and cedarwood and crimson yarn and hyssop" (Leviticus 14:4-8)
