His body position is wrong and he panic brakes the front wheel. Sure a gravel is not a MTB - but this is totally not the bike's fault. After 20 h of training offroads, you can actually ride that rather easy spot with any bike.

I love these, it actually helps me as a new rider to understand some of the crashes that are possible.....I don't think I'll have to worry about any backflips though lol

To avoid these types of crashes: *Lower your sit post *During a downhill, don't use the front brakes to avoid flipping your bike *It's up to you if you wanna use cleats or flat pedals (I recommend flat pedals for a safer option or if you're a beginner at mtbiking) *Always aware of your surroundings *Always wear helmet and protective gear just in case of an uncontrollable crash *Check tire pressures and fork suspensions to make sure they're ready to shred *Practice, Practice, Practice and just enjoy😉 *And also always bring first aid kits just in case of a serious unexpected injury.

I barely use my front breaks, you should be feathering with front and have your finger over the back break at all times, but usually you want to use the back, also another tip don’t go riding by yourself bring friends, it’s safer and it helps

Yesterday I crushed with my new mountain bike testing it. I have 12 exoriations all over my body including 3 on my face. Now I am having very painful moments and my faith in my bike's skills went down
