Great finds !!, I like the little bucket on the bottom corner of the wooden church. And we use to eat on the flat baskets with paper plates in the 80s. Lol

Tracy, yes! My momma would be so happy to see how excited Julie gets over the paper plate holders. We had them in the 70's and they are great for holding the very cheapest kind of paper plate. I hated the holders ("baskets" because they were a pain in the butt to get ketchup/mustard off. As the oldest kid, kitchen cleanup was my chore. LoL.

Julie, my co worker Judy lived there. I’ve been there many times. She used to fix us lunch after she retired. That estate used to be pristine and top notch She loved crafting too. I think I’ll go check it out on Sunday but it will be surreal seeing it vacant. I’m so glad you will bring some of her stuff back to life.

You could turn the old windows into chalk boards too :) I was picking up the old frames for $5 a piece, using flexi type board for the chalkboard, and a quick coat or 2 of paint, and selling them for $50. They sold so fast too! 😁😁

Paint the chair. It will hold it together better. If it keeps getting weathered, it will fall apart. As a resaler, you do not want that.

We need to talk, please don't paint the old chair it's perfect as it is. You mentioned painting and distressing it but it has a natural aged look that can't be copied. The big piece that you said you will add wood to the front then do some wording would be a gorgeous mirror with the legs left on it would make a lovely piece in a bedroom leaning at a wall. I wish I could go shopping with you, you find some amazing things. Thanks for sharing your great finds. 🤗

WOW, you are one lucky gal to find all that awesome stuff. Please do not paint that old chair, it is perfect the way it is. I actually have one that is old and chipped on my covered patio and I love it just the way it is. Why do yo want to take the metal picture off the magazine rack? Also the big stand that you plan to remove the legs would make a great standing mirror. Wish I could find a sale like that. Thanks for sharing. 👍🌹

I use moldpodge if I want to both glue and seal. But most of the time I use rustoleum enamel matte sealer in a spray can

I ended up using mod podge on the metal stands to keep the paint from chipping of and I like rustoleum to seal

I am pretty sure that John's house. He passed away not long ago. All that pottery was hand made by Judy, his lady friend. She loved plants too.thats why you see all the planters. I didn't know they were having a sale.
