I call BS. The last time I bought a vehicle from a dealer they issued temporary registration and I had to have insurance on it to do so. My insurance company issued a binder and emailed it to them after I called to get the vehicle on the policy. The dealer would not allow customers to drive vehicles off the lot without the proper credentials as they didn't want the liability.

All police should wear body cam footage, and it should be availible, free of charge, to the public (omitting, of course, any sensitive details). Why? Because, if people are going to act the fool in public, then clearly they don't care what the public sees... and police are public servants, so what they do in the name of the public should be seen. Good cops would not be afraid of what body cam footage shows. They'd probably end up with their own KZfaq following. :)

Thank you for enforcing laws around vehicle condition (tint, mud flaps, etc.) and not just speeding (though egregious speeding deserves enforcement, too). Honestly I think it's crazy that in most states, mine included, there's no requirement for periodic safety inspections of vehicles. Nobody is checking that you have tread on your tires, functioning signals, properly-aimed headlights, usable wipers, etc. unless a cop happens to notice. We have smog inspections here in CA-and even those don't apply to all vehicles-but no safety inspections. Why? I feel like most of the willfully illegal, dangerous aftermarket mods would go away if people had to revert them once a year to pass inspection. And yeah, I realize that all these things cost money, people need to get to work and may not have other options. I'm sensitive to that. But the answer can't be that you drive a vehicle in an unsafe condition and pose a hazard to yourself and others. I believe there are means-tested programs to help people with basic repair costs (and if not, let's put some in place). But we can't just let people drive around with bald tires and broken headlights.

Its kinda like the whole "Batman is just one guy" thing. Everyone knows that Batman is looking for crimes but don't stop criming because "what are the odds he gets me"? Its just crazy how many people know Frank and know that he is there but keep violating traffic laws.

I was given a new car about a year ago from my younger brother because he was moving across the country and he wasn't taking it with him. I literally dealt with the registration and insurance THAT WEEK. I believe in most states you have 7 business days to get the info updated. You HAVE to do it. You can't wait a month. I actually did the insurance the DAY I got three car- all you have to do is call your insurance company and they do it for you. For registration you have to go to a RMV. I basically just took a day off and did it.

I can't wait for Friday's with Frank. You need to make these videos longer.
