Fried Okra All Year Long!

Күн бұрынIt is day 21 of the Every Bit Counts Challenge and we are 3 weeks in! Today Kristy is going to show you how to prepare okra to freeze so that you can fry it later. This super simple process will allow you to pull it out of the freezer and throw it directly into the frying pan!

My husband loves fried okra. I pick for few days, then cut and batter all of it. We fry some for dinner and freeze the rest. Yum!

That’s awesome! I just canned green beans and I used my bag sealer and froze a ton of peaches 🍑

Yay! Great work! Do you freeze your peaches whole or do you cut them up first?

@@FromtheRootsUp I cut them in quarters and then usually into 8ths. I’m up at 2:30 am skinning tomatoes now 😂 my back is broken lol
