I lost my daughter in 2015. She was only 33 yrs old. I sang this song to her when she was going through rehab and when she was passing away I held her hand so she heard her mother's voice comforting her as God gave her her angel wings.

This will be my mother-son dance song at his wedding. My son got his heart shattered 3 years ago when he came home and his wife had packed all her things and left without telling him. She refused to speak to him and explain. For a mother, helping a grown son come out of the darkness, being there willing him not to break...is the most difficult thing a mother can do. Moms cant fix broken hearts. He prayed and prayed for her to come back to him. And got disillusioned with God and why he didnt answer his prayer. But I told him what my granny used to tell me...sometimes God doesnt give us what we want...he gives us something better than we could ever imagine. And he did. My son met his new fiance at the mailbox by his new home and she had just built a new home 5 houses down. She was sent by God! She is the sweetest, caring, most generous person I have ever met.
