Karachi, Pakistan ➖ The nostalgia I get when re-visiting countries and seeing familiar faces is unmatched by any experience I can imagine. So today, I went back to the areas of Karachi where the first Pakistan series was filmed. I was on the hunt to find the birthplace of my cheese paratha addiction but my worst fears came true, and they no longer sold cheese paratha! So I walked around the block and had chai at the same place I had it all those months ago. I then settled for a chicken club sandwich at a small fast-food place called Spicy one and got my shoes cleaned shortly after. It was then time to check in to my new hotel and I met a familiar face in the reception area!

Visiting Pakistan wasn’t on my wish list but now I’ve seen just how friendly decent and kind these people are ( especially Amar ) I’m determined to go there. Its sad to say most of the wealthier countries are not hospitable. The reason is countries such as Pakistan value family and friends first and work businesses are secondary.

They may not be hospitable but they are good in charity giving. Appreciate where it deserve its right. Mostly countries in europe west etc give large sums of money or belongings in donations, they arent that hospitable coz they are more professional and reserved in personal interactions but deep down they have this sense of purpose and charity. And I am a fellow Pakistani, not western.

That’s such a wholesome moment when you try to speak in urdu for them and they try to speak in English for you and half of that is both of y’all talking in sign languages and then the awkward laugh 😂 and the conversation ends and both of y’all leaves so awkwardly that always makes me laugh so much 😂♥️

This happens to me as well. Whenever I travel to Pakistan and someone gives a fair price, I usually give them a good tip. I guess they feel kind of shocked or surprised that they're not able to really show it but inside you can feel that they're very grateful. Feels good to make someone's day.
