Just kidding 🤣
Between the esophagus and the stomach there is another sphincter muscle that prevents food from being able to return from the stomach. Therefore, it is normally not possible for a horse to vomit or burp.
That's why horses fart a lot.
When it gets too extreme. It could also be that there is something wrong with a horse. Always pay attention to this.

They definitely do it, and worse. My first pony got really excited when it was our turn in show jumping competitions. We’d enter the arena, the judges would ring the bell for us to start our round - and he’d do a huge sloppy shit, every single time!!! He’d then take off and fly over the jumps, and rarely hit anything. I wish I had a horse-sized version of him...

It never failed, every time I groomed my guide horses in the mornings they would fart when I would bend down to brush hocks or the top of their tail and butts. They were really showing their love, lol.

What a perfect video to wake up to. Reality check, healthy digestive system, "better out than in". When I walk in my barn it's like a symphony, "Patches" my pony wins the blue ribbon. Though Uniek is definitely the winner in your barn. For those with an aversion to gas, please do not go in a horse barn because we consider it a sign of healthy horses. 🐎

My then GF Wendy Kennedy, back east, in Plainfield Massachussetts (Hello Wendy!) had two horses, one Palomino and the other a Morgan mare. Whenever we were out riding, if they farted, she would yell out "Jet Power"... The first mare running, kicking and farting brought memories.
