Does safty valve have anything to do with excessive CO emissions?

igniter wires, do they have to go in the same way they come off, when reinstalling the burner tube, should you feel it "pop" in, and should you use gas line tape when reinstalling the gas line into the stove?

The safety valve I need to replace is a Y-30128-35 for a frigidair but it is on average 50 dollars more expensive than the GE Y-30128-77 which seems to look exactly the same (except for a small mounting bracket) and has all the exact same Voltage, Amps, PSI, etc. Can I just use the cheaper one? Thank you in advance!

4:00 - Should you reapply thread sealant to the brass fitting before rethreading to prevent leakage?

Flared fittings don't need pipe sealant unless specifically stated in the manual. But as a rule no sealant on flares.

3:03 behind the safety valve terminals there appears to be a brass/gold pipe with white tape threaded around it. Don’t see any steps regarding that piece. Is it insignificant?

4:00 - This is where that step comes in. However, I don't see any fresh thread sealant being used 🤔
