Ik people talking about Gibby making a cameo, but I want T-BO to cameo as an owner of a smoothie place

This is my way of watching the iCarly revival.

This whole show gives me a ‘Friends’ vibe and I love it. It’s cheesy and corny at times and all around goofy for an adult oriented show, but the characters and development of them makes it so lovable.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the amazing job the stylists have done this season? I’m obsessed with Harper’s look every week and Carly’s style evolution makes a lot of sense with her character arc.

I just want a meta episode where someone suggests that so many people like Carly’s new web show simply because they’re nostalgic for her old one of the same name. And Carly has a mini existential crisis

I’m fairly suprised this season turned out as well as it did. I was a little worried when they announced it that it was just gonna be a garbage cash grab.

Spencer and Maeve mutually decoupling because they both acknowledge they aren’t ready for relationships is a great move, because it could so easily have been hijinks or a plot device breaking them up. Instead they know they need to improve themselves, creating potential arc for them. This contrasts Ross and Rachel from Friends, always broken up because the plot needed it and not addressing why they didn’t work as a couple so that when they got back together things inevitably broke down again. They did not earn “stop being stupid” in the finale. But if Spencer and Maeve do fix their trust and emotional maturity issues, to reconcile as better people and a stronger couple, or just deciding they’re better as friends, that will be more rewarding.

I think a lot of people are going to appreciate Millicent and Freddie working together on their business hijinks rather than it being Millicent trying to one up everyone on her own. Good thing she had that character development.

It'll be interesting to see iCarly have a genuine season finale, since only the original series finale did so.

These are my predictions for the end of the season: 1. Carly and Wes will not end but there will be an unexpected twist in their relationship that remains unresolved for the second season (Wes cheating on Carly (and Freddie finding out?), Proposing to her, or saying "I love you"). 2. I don't think there will be more "Creddie" at least for this season, it would be super arrhythmic and it would not allow the development of the relationship between Carly and Wes, I think Freddie will focus on his pet app and his relationship with Millicent (little significance , more like a comedic prop). 3. Same as Freddie for Spencer, I think it will close the season by being the comic relief around his breaking up with Maeve and needing him for someone's affection. 4. My riskiest prediction is that Gibby will appear, or at least he will be mentioned and we will know where he is, I keep betting that this is the big finale of the season. Beyond this I do not think there is a surprising ending, remember that the old ICarly ended his first 2 seasons with inconsequential chapters.

Carly was just a good little girl in the first show, glad to see she has an actual personality with a hint of depth in this show. they really revamped her!

I didn't think ANYONE remembered Jump in. Probably one of the greatest Disney movies! Props to you my dude I might just subscribe cause of that one comment 😂

I’m a big fan of Wes, he’s so different than her usual guys. He actually has a brain 😂 I think he’ll be around for awhile, maybe into season 2 even. Maybe this could end up being a super significant relationship for Carly

You know, when they mentioned that they’d be making an Italian dinner, I thought that’d be the perfect window to add a spaghetti taco reference. I’m glad they took the initiative at the end of the episode. It took them 12 episodes to reference them. And, a bit off topic, but is Spencer ever going to start another fire in this series? Having him only start one in the first episode would be odd.

Harper has had the most character development out of anyone this season

That "Oh my goodness! Squidward!" bit had me wheezing 😂

I have 0 plans to get paramount plus, but this has been a great way to experience the icarly revival and made me realize just how much of an impact the former series had on me. Congrats on the 100K subs!!

3rd time is the charm for Phil Lewis directing this new episode of iCarly too. He’s just on a role!

Predictions for the finale: Carly sees Wes texting or talking to another woman, gets in her own head thinking he’s cheating, and confides in Freddie frantically. Freddie tries to calm her down, and then the episode ends with them kissing and fading to black on a cliffhanger. Season 2 picks up where they leave off, turns out Wes didn’t cheat and it was an old friend that’s just a friend but Carly and Freddie accidentally hook up putting the infidelity on Carly instead.

Carly could never become a doctor. Her character has proved this for over a decade now lol

Jordan i don’t know if you’ll see this, but thank you for all your hard work, i see uploads by you so often and everytime i watch those uploads they are fully filled with fun info and fun to join commentary, i love your childlike nature but you’re still mature, you’re so quick yet all of your content is very well made, you make my days so much better, just thank you.

I like Jordan's arguing with himself jokes. It works very well.

I am both Italian and American but have lived in Italy all my life. For this reason, I used to call my American grandfather 'Nonno'. He didn't know a word of Italian and my English was clumsy when I was a kid, even though I am bilingual. He made an effort to always call himself 'Nonno', but he never learned the spelling and would always write on his birthday cards 'Nono Barney', which actually means 'the ninth Barney'. He passed away a couple of years ago. I know this comment is clearly not related to this new episode of ICarly, but your pronunciation of 'Nonna' reminded me of my awesome grandpa. Thanks.

I expect Gibby to show up with abs in the next season. Give that man his glow up!

I would love to see an episode of the icarly reboot of Carly seeing comments about how they miss the old Icarly. Or they miss Sam and she feels like the only reason people tune in is because of the nostalgia but at the end of the episode she learns to not let those comments bother her and make icarly whatever she wants it to be.

I really love that it’s a show for its original audience!

I am watching these instead of the show since the acting is almost too cringe to watch in the actual show. But this episode looks hilarious and I might watch it for real. "Can I meet your grandma?" "I don't think we're there yet" LMAO 🤣🤣

I hate that in most episodes Carly has a new love interest. Most of her character is just her being in love with a new person who turns out to be a weird dude or Carly pretending to be good at something only to mess up

Watching this in place of the revival- I feel like they felt too awkward making Spencer Date Carly’s friend, so they made her friend have a long lost sister lol

I don’t understand the fixation people have with Freddie and Carly getting together. The girl’s trip episode touched on it just enough and now the show should move on from it. Their dynamic is so much more interesting as best friends rather than lovers.

I don’t have paramount so thank you for making these as I love keeping up with the show as best I can. And you describe it well enough where I get all the juicy parts and can picture everything that goes on in my brain. Also the screenshots you provide are a big help too.

This still isn't the same without the dynamic of and or constant interchanges between carly and her two best friends!!!

I've never watched the show, and at this point i am so accustomed to Fringe's voice that i would be confused if i heard any of the real actor's voices during the clips of the show

I loved this episode one of the best this season

My predictions for the season finale: I saw some photos behind the scenes from the actor for Wes. It looks like the cast is in a jungle type area. (Maybe a zoo?) if it is a zoo maybe Wes and Carly are having their date at the zoo. I also saw a story post from the writers they were celebrating the first season finishing shooting. And I saw a truck that said “Haven Moving”. Maybe that could mean Freddie and millicent are finally moving out of ms. Bensons apartment? And a latest interview from Nathan kress. (The actor for Freddie) Said that the season finale is something they’d never done before or unexpected. Which doesn’t say much but I think there might be a surprise at the end of the episode to leave people hyped for the 2nd season. Maybe Gibby returns? Jay kogen never really said anything beyond “we’ve approached him” or maybe tbo? I just think there might be a fan favorite character returning at the end of the season. UPDATE: I checked the interview and Nathan said that they’re actually going to be in the forest pretty much the whole episode. That might explain why they were in a grassy type area because it’s a forest. So the Freddie moving out is scrapped. I think there’s still potential for a character return.

The one thing I want for Freddie besides a "W" is to grow a beard. Either shave it clean, or put some hair there, but that shadow ain't quite clicking.

There was a little moment with Harper and Dutch after Harper stood up for herself where they shared a little look that could have suggested a possible love interest in the future… it’s not a huge thing but just something to note I guess.

I think Carly is better in the remake. It's interesting seeing her try to cope with unfamiliar situations and learn to be herself.

I think Freddie’s true love is Sam. Carly was just a childhood fixation. I feel like if something were to happen it would have by now. Sam and Freddy balance each other out.

This episode ended in a sweet way. Carley's new boyfriend is perfect for her, and he's Italian lol. I look forward to seeing them together. It'll change things but I respect the risk. They could of just played things safe by making them break up, so I'm happy they didn't do something like that.

I would love to see Sam show up and watch how they would change her character. Maybe she’d be exactly the same, or maybe she’d become a calm and polite social worker to help kids out of similar situations as her upbringing with her mom However, Jeannette mccurdy has come out taking about her abuse and trauma during the original show, and how she never wants to revisit that While I would love to see her character again and see how she’s changed, I honestly hope that’s never pushed for too hard for jeannette’s well-being Sam being in this new show is just a fun scenario to think about

To be honest, I am really excited for the season finale. I don't think there will be this big twist and I don't hope it's about Wes not being good for Carly because I feel like he is great for her. Also I feel like 13 episodes for one season is a little bit low episode count. The OG iCarly I'm pretty sure had like 26 episodes each season but hey that's just me 🤷🏾‍♂️

this is the first episode of the season that I think was *actually* good. Previous episodes were fun, but pretty much just ok. During this one I laughed multiple times (even though the whole "grandma is secretly evil" is a pretty old cliche at this point) and even the minor characters that I thought a little annoying in previous eps like Dutch and Maeve, they worked really well here.
