The first time I ever takted Fritos Corn Chips was around 1955 when Dad gave me some, and I LOVED them! To me it tasted like a kind of popcorn. Had no idea until now they've been around since the 1930s!

Fell in love with Fritos back in high school. Toasted, crunchy, salty, corn chips...best with an ice-cold Pepsi or 7UP on a summer day in Canoga Park. Part of my 1968 Valley paradise!

The intro was the most cringeworthy thing I have ever seen, and I died laughing.

I worked for Frito Lay in the summers of 1969 and 1970. Interestingly, the corn was soaked before being made into mash. Out from the corn came thin white worms. Corn and worm mash was what became fritos. I don't know if the process is very different today. Fritos were good then and I still enjoy them with a ham sandwich. Ironically when I was drafted for the Vietnam War I was made a food inspector for the Army. Believe me, these tiny worms are insignificant to other "food defects" that are permitted in the processing of foods. I know I was surprised as a food inspector. All I can say is, we do have to eat and its the things that you can't see with the naked eye that kill you.

Apparently in 2016, they didn't know how to make a mono signal into a stereo one. So all the dialog is coming out of the left side, but all the music is in stereo. Boy, have we come along way. lol.

I am eating some of the Fritos Scoops, but the bag I have came from Plano, Texas. It was a cool video to watch. Every once in a while when I eat the Fritos corn chips, I get a little bit of a flavor of microwave popcorn. Still yummy stuff
