To me, this song is special. Not because it's about a relationship but more so about a friendship. My best friend of 7 years just up and left one day. I gave him so much support when he needed it, and he never did in return, I thought as "brothers" you do that for each other. He got a new partner and since then he's changed and been a different person. This means a lot to me because its me crying out for my mate back, the guy I because a brother too, for this other imposter to leave and for the mate I know to come back. Sleepless nights, going through a state of depression, I lost the person who I graduated with, who I stuck with for so long

@@DavidRiddle-yt9qp Yeah I'm familiar with Chrissy's other work including the one you mentioned but in fact I don't think she's done this much of a straight up rock song since weapon. Silent stranger defo has some strong aggressive elements but there's also more poppy-ish parts there as well.

Thank you, From Ashes To New and Chrissy! On April 9th, 2021, and March 1st, 2023, my father and mother passed away on those dates. This song really has hit home for me. Never have I thought that Barely Breathing could get better than the original version, which was already one of my most listened songs on Spotify and one of my favorite Fatn songs. But the addition of Chrissys part sounds amazing and I'm glad that the beat also got a slight change. The piano at the beginning gives the whole song a more haunting and slightly creepy vibe. Also I just yesterday found out that Crissy the singer of Against the current is the same Crissy that collabed with other artists like Sam Tsui, which I loved to watch like 10 years ago.

This is honestly one of the best collab/feature songs I've ever heard. Chrissy is such a talented singer and she adds a whole 'nother layer to this song with her vocals. The song itself awesome, the lyrics have a lot of emotion to them. Love it. I've probably already streamed it on Spotify like 300 times, not an exaggeration. In general this gave me some Breaking Benjamin meets Linkin Park vibes, with Chrissy added in, top notch. And I mean that in the best way possible for comparing with both of those bands.
