You know, this could probably be a service you could try and offer to some colleges that they could be able to offer students as an extra charge at the dorms. Hotels might even be another good source too if they do their linens themselves. Try and have them let a third party do the work for them instead, which cuts back on their own work load, granted at a cost.

I’m 25 years old, zero debt, living my best life. I set up a retirement trust fund when I was 17. I’ll be able to access it when I’m 60, and it will be a million dollars. I don’t get how these people can be so irresponsible. Save now people.

I'm not going to lie, an extra $100k for ALL that extra work doesn't seem like it's worth it. $150k, even in Austin, is a good wage. The profit comes from scaling the structure or selling on the license to do the same in other cities.

@@InvestmentJoy way bigger calculation to work reward with that margin level. That is decent with his headcount and likely loans to pay down on equipment. 900k is totally worth it. Work ten years, bank a ton of money, exit the business and live a sweet retirement

Great content! Yes, would love to see more. I think laundromats should be combined with other services. Coffee/cafe, haircuts, gym, etc. One thing I don't understand about this service: how do they sort? Do they just dump one bag per washer and hope? That doesn't seem like high end service to me.

Great business venture.. I would use that service. I prefer my shirts dry-cleaned. That runs me upwards of $160 per month in the Phoenix market. I would be interested to know his per pound cost of service for non dry-cleaning items . I'm sure in NYC this would be a typical service model.

In college towns it might make the difference between making it or breaking it on the pick up and delivering system, depending on the size of the town and the number of high income people there

There is a strainer in the cooling tower basin Gould be cleaned monthly. And maybe a finer mesh is needed or syphon the basin monthly. Or big fine y strainers before the small runs to the compressors with an automated blow of cable ran to drain. I’ve cleaned a lot of cooling towers. And here in Az they can get nasty. Our scale potential is like 100x of Ny NJ

I'm in Canada and big problem here. They add carbon tax and its excessive. Just a small mushroom business is $16,000 for one month for carbon tax on top of electric, delivery and natural gas . Water is $100 for 3 cubic meter of water. Next gov changing to heat pumps for hot water, heat , and electricity for heat. Electric used is 19.00 and with all added its over $250.00 . Natural gas used 12 dollars and final bill is over 120 dollars. Ontario Canada is 4 times the price. Wouldn't work in my city sad to say. Many restaurants and businesses are shutting down . One company had a $400,000 carbon tax for one month. You wonder why Canadians are leaving and migrants.

I just retired from 33 years in public safety, and I'm only 54. I saved well, andwith my veteran's benefits make more than i did working. I would love to get into a small business like this, but have no idea how it works. Seems well within my ability, but i have never worked in a service industry like this. Im sure you get this question all the time, but where do i start?

Laundry mats are awesome but there’s a catch you haft to check up on them every week that includes vending machines. Which means you have to be in driving distance of them. It’s just me but I’d rather have some thing less tied down. Something that can go 24/7 365 and I don’t HAFT to check up on it every single week in that one location.

This is pretty impressive. But they are quite exposed to future competition. I wouldn't be surprised if a gig economy app that focuses on doing people's laundry puts these guys at risk. Even if the gig economy worker does someone's laundry at their Laundromat. Plus, current dry cleaners can do this.

That was a segment we cut, alot of it comes down to infrastructure : the average home doesn't have the capacity for 10x washers and dryers.

@@InvestmentJoy he's looking at minimum $625k for the FTE's alone, $800k after they pay taxes and other costs. Those managers are more, so guesstimate is $1M just for the FTE,. Are they really only making $100k extra over a normal laundromat? as I commented before, seems like a lot of extra work for not much extra on top, guess it depends on where you are in life.

@@raymond19001 I get tired of answering the same exact question over 1,000 times. My coin pusher videos altogether has probably had 50 million views. Did legality is they are effectively regulated on a local Municipal level. Ohio Revised Code says that a skilled gaming machine cannot pay out anymore than a $10 prize, which puts every Chuck-E-Cheese or Dave & Buster's under the gun. To give out more than a $10 prize technically, the state of Ohio requires the gaming commission to give you a certificate. The problem is that certificate is never given out, literally unless you are a multi-billion-dollar casino you will never get a permit. So about 10 years ago someone went to the State Attorney General asking them about the specific thing and the State Attorney General said that it should be a local Municipal level issue then. Because in itself the state of Ohio Revised Code clearly says that if a permit is mandated for business activity and will not be issued the law was unconstitutional
