This was made in '22. Everyone was having a blast talking about crypto in '22. It "crashed" "died" and was the laughing stock of no-coiners. Late night hosts made fun of it almost nightly. Now? crickets. hmmm? Nearly the entire left was or is against bitcoin thanks to misinformation and a concerted effort to stop non-central bank controlled money. Most crypto enthusiast hate this because it goes against the principles of decentralization of Bitcoin and crypto as a whole. There isn’t supposed to be a leader or figurehead.

Brock Pierce comes off as a bit creepy, something isn't right. I think his primary reason to move to PR is based on the tax benefits. With that said, he was telling people there to buy bitcoin and ethereum back in 2017 and if they followed that advice they'd be very happy today with their investments.

Yeah the hype train is over, at this point it’s all speculative buzz for the etf market on Wall Street. It’s only real utility is a long term store of value and hedge against currency inflation, but that assumes there’s liquidity and that you secure the bitcoin. You’re on your own if you lose the keys, get hacked or send them to the wrong wallet or some other user error. It’s great for software engineers and technical users but will never be mainstream. Payment networks like PayPal and Venmo got hip, realized they needed to offer lower fees. Their security is much better and if something goes wrong you can at least contact their service division.

very warped, biased perspective. The vast majority of people living in poor, tropical countries like peurto rico realise that it is important and a good thing for their country to have rich people visit and spend money there. For most of these countries, tourism is at least 20% of their GDP, often as high as 80% . So for every one person getting mad about rich cryoto people visiting peurto rico to spend money, there'll be at least 10 who realise it's a good thing, even if they don't accomplish anythign except spend money locally.

There are a lot of ponzi schemes in Crypto. And the vast majority of people who are really into Crypto are basically males who are going through a midlife crisis or peaked in college and couldn't get laid unless they paid for it.
