Joke: When you park in the lot, you are going to be looking for a "Yellow" truck forgetting you got a new truck. Add the shipping/packaging price onto the refrigerator, so you don't take a loss (UPS I think will take care of the packaging). Best of Luck on your new truck.

If you ask around or put up a note, drivers at Prime would be willing to purchase your fridge, it's a great fridge, I had one in my Cascadia when I was at Prime. I'd go get newer heatlines. Those air guards are for aerodynamic. I'm very happy for you and your new truck.. Stay safe and stay blessed brother

I turned in my Freightliner 2 weeks ago and had a fridge in it that I bought around Thanksgiving . One of the mechanics bought it when I took it to have the end of lease inspection done.. I ordered a new Pete mid roof so I didn’t need it anymore either

That radio will fit. That panel that holds the radio in comes off and is an easy install. I did the same thing in this Pete.

I know. I would like to see the SO-CALLED savings that those wheel covers offer to see if it is significant enough to cover them up. Any savings number is under IDEAL TESTING CONDITIONS and doesn't always translate into real life conditions. They look UGLY.

It's aerodynamics to control wind blowing under your wheels and it prevents animals, people or objects from getting caught in between there while you driving. They gone invent more features so people can't pull your kingpin or mess around your tires and underneath your truck. It's all safety and prevents liability

Keep your old fridge and pop it up on your bunk that way you'll have more room for food. As far as a CB radio you can't go wrong with a good old cobra 29 i have had 3 of them over the years and have had no problem but someone had stolen one on me while i was at a truck stop in milton ont

Your bunk is actually bigger then the binder and the space between the drives is for hauling heavier loads more smoothly, which is why it doesnt turn as easily. Note: binder or corn binder, is a slang term for International & drives are the rear set of axles/tires on the truck.

Honestly, i would have gone with the mid-roof, as a tanker driver. I hate that the top bunk doesnt fold up anymore than it already is. Ive hit my head on it too many times.

@ChrisL-oz4lp Paccars don't usually idle due to the clean emissions bs. My Paccar wouldn't idle for more then 3 minutes before shutting down if between specific Temps. Seeing as he needs idle to use the pump, I don't know how it's possible. I know have a Cummins and although it's better in many ways, it sucks on fuel mileage

Ohh no. Not a hater but the majority (87%) of Prime drivers never complete the lease and get the title in there hands after the last ballon payment if you did the lease purchase unless you did the terrible STANDARD LEASE then you will never own that truck. Just think about it, Prime loves to make new drivers sign those Standard Lease contracts VS a Lease Purchase. Prime is making top dollar off the Standard Lease contracts. Did you ask WHY the last driver of that truck got fired, quit or went back to a company driver? How many other drivers been in that lease truck? I’ve heard stories that did a lease with Prime having up to five different drivers in a year on one truck. Did you ask for ALL the work history on that truck? Breakdowns, PM’s, OOS, sets of tires it went through. that’s very important to know. That model year has had a lot of mechanical problems and failures. Not hating on you just giving you a heads up.

Many valid points. However, where did the 87% figure come from? You would need to CATEGORIZE reasons why the lease wasn't completed. Saying 87% doesn't support a negative review of Prime leasing program. Prime making TOP DOLLAR off the standard lease contracts... How dare a company try to make top dollar for their shareholders by holding a GUN to prospective leaser's. If I owned a business, I would definitely try to make TOP DOLLAR without forcing someone to help me do it.

It is a PRIVATE COLLECTION AGENCY for the Federal Reverse Bank which is also not part of the government but is ALSO a PRIVATE BANK owned by FOREIGN BANKS. The system is set up to SCREW the American people and that's a FACT. Whenever we PLAY BY THEIR RULES and win/succeed, they CHANGE the rules in the middle of the game so we can no longer win until we ADJUST to the NEW RULES they implemented.

Math can lie. If someone writes 2+2=7. If leasing is so stupid, why does leasing programs still exist? Why aren't they illegal and lawsuits filed because of this so-called terrible practice that has been around for ages?
