I think this should be in the top 10 b/c of how open they were to share their hardships with the world and I feel that their love for each other and their kids will keep them on the right path!

That is awesome! Congrats guys. 🎉 I’ve paid off about $206k and I’ve got $267k left to go and then I’ll be 100% debt free house, rental and everything! Can’t wait to be able to stand in front of Dave and thank him for his advice through the years. I better hurry though in case Dave retires soon….

You all are so encouraging! I work in law enforcement and I love hearing stories of people who make it. Keep sharing your story. We need people with a history in drug addiction to know they can do this too!

@@iamhischosen3866 its not hard to believe he got booked during the pandemic due to ppl saving $ thru the first year. ALOT of ppl were still employed but didnt have to pay rent & also the stimy checks that came in, theres alot of dumb ppl who used that $ for tattoos that they wouldnt really save for if they didnt get a free check up front like that. So yeah you sound like a hater who spends more then you make🤡

I watched a recording of this and I couldn't help feeling emotional and inspired by what they have overcome. I'm sure their "testimony" will motivate others that have similar backgrounds. I am inspired and more motivated, and my journey has been no where near as difficult as theirs. I pray for their continued recovery and their continued success. GOD BLESS THEM BOTH.

Best of luck to them. I was an addict, a gambling addict, and I hit rock bottom in 1997. I stopped but had a few relatively minor relapses. But I'd drive the 100 miles to the Casino, walk in and start to feel sick and disgusted. Then other times I'd be 50, 60, 80, even 90 miles into the trip and would turn around and go home. I finally never went back. Then a Casino opened minutes away and I didn't go for 5 years until my mom came to town and wanted to see it, not knowing what I had been through. On my own I beat it. It destroyed me financially back then. Today I have millions in assets, no debt. I give better than 10%. I survived a heart attack 8 years ago and doing well. Life is good.
