CORRECTION - Indira Gandhi flew down to Ladakh in 1984 to end the fast undertaken by Wangchuk's father. (She wasn't around in 1986) PS - do share this video with friends and family who believe that we are still "Mother of Democracy" ... tell them that no major protest will happen in India in the near future. that's what happened : first they converted and plundered local traditions in middle east we said nothing then all zorastrians and communists in iran we did nothing, then they plundered Buddhist , Sikhs, communists and Hindus in Afghanistan and Pakistan regions we said nothing, then they killed and forced Kashmiri Pandits out of Kashmir and Hindus from bangladesh we said nothing at last they came for me and there was noone left to protect me even though I was a left leaning atheist person.

I recently saw a malayalam movie called jana gana mana , in that movie there was a dialogue saying whenever something happens in any part of the country we just say it's happening there not here..but we forget it's happening in India. When one part of your body gets hurt the whole body suffers. We need to remember that.

The last few minutes were heart touching and depressing. Final few years of independent democratic India. I always wondered how dictators managed to conquer and rule without the citizens consent. Now we all have a real example. Slow death of India. People are spreading manipulative info about govt here and seems there propaganda is also working. In Kargil district the Buddhist minorities are not evn allowed to build their monastery due to the majority.. Sonam wangchuk is also one of the few who was against monastery being built in Kargil. People should not support a foreign puppet like him.
