Considering there are 10 other Halls in existence this seems to be a good solution to recreating a lost class consigned to time. Plus how the GWR fleet has interchangeable parts only influenced the decision more. The other project locos at Didcot are proof enough.

The saints were always speedy locomotives would they in fact be the record holders of the gwr as king richard 111 obtained 108 mph at bruton and many stories true or false the saints could better this not that could happen or would be sensible for what is a fine loco and sole member of the class ,fine job didcot .?

this is exactly needs to be done. bring back steam engines. so people can enjoy them for years to come and get rid of the smelly old diesels.
