Since you're in the capital of Afro-Cuban music, I would suggest you mix your beautiful music styles with many of the different Latin styles of music you will (or have already) encounter there. You would be surprised at what you can come up with and the beat is always infectious in the process. Especially since the Genesis for most Latin and Caribbean based music originated from tribal music in Africa. So, you can bring it full circle and have fun in the process! I’m a photographer. So, you mentioned lights! Think about the movies, they are never too bright. Sometimes, I think some of them are too dark. Too much shining light is never good. Think of artificial light as fill-in light. If too bright, it can’t be fixed in post. If possible, window light is best. You are very decorative with your guitars behind you, so you may want to adjust your camera for a well focused foreground and background. F/1.4, blurry background! Depending on the distance F/3.5, not so blurry background!
