Read his book always running in high school. It changed my perspective on the lifestyle and how destructive it can be. Thank you for writing that book and shedding light on the issues facing our people.

This was a legendary interview, American Cholo. You are doing an amazing job for the cultura and it’s a tragedy you’re not getting the attention and views you deserve. Keep going on homie, you will prosper eventually.

Gil my dad was a white low rider from lynwood, The used to call it “Lilly white lynwood” but that had already came to an end in my dads time, Most of the whites had moved to Lakewood at this point were they still are today, Not on no racist shit just on some decent neighborhood shit, My question would be why than are these Nieghbor hoods in the condition there in now? Lakewood’s still the way I remember it as a child but lynwood ah hell no, It’s interesting how when the mischievous Chicano kids are talked about they were misled, Good at heart… BUT when the whites are spoken of it’s just pure racism, Mischief is just that, Evil is just that, Color don’t matter

speaking of Cholo's, I'm 65 years old and I remember that the cholo's dressed much different. cholo's didn't wear sneakers or jerseys. I remember Pendaton's and Imperial shoes.
