After years of shating like a cow from eating crap food, veggies, lot of fibers and carbs I went first keto then carnivore and finally able to produce nicely formed torpedoes again. Toilet visit takes now under a minute as before it took like 20 minutes. Side effects I appreciate is weight loss and overall better health.

You likely were going through a detox. A month would be a fair trial. One week is not.

You might benefit from researching oxalate toxicity...and how to slow that down while your body is transitioning to carnivore. It takes time to adapt, reverse years if damage, and navigate the detoxification...which can include understanding how to manage oxalate dumping.

Why would you want to "add things back in"?? That would be foolish.

I thought after a while I will try and andda few things back, because I really miss them, I really enjoyed fermented vegetables, and many more, I enjoyed the taste of plant based homemade food a lot, when I ate that way. So my initial idea was addig a few things back eventually, but only as little side dishes, to make the food more interesting. Pretty much like how Lilly Kane adds a little fried onion, or some mushroom on the side, a little fruit, etc. This was my plan, that eventually I will add some variety in, but keep it mainly meat, fat, eggs and raw fermented dairy. I learned it with my own experiences, that I simply cannot add veggies back, my body reacts to them badly, in some cases even with 2-3 weeks of feeling down, being tired, not to mention the bad stomach and clear out. So yeah, I planned to add a little this and a little that back, but even a tiny portion of peeled, organic, well cooked carrot gave me headache and the tired, down feeling... At the same time fruit from our own garden does not cause any symptoms at all. My whole family feels great, we make ice cream from our own frozen fruit here and there, with cream and raw egg yolk. Right now strawberries are in season, so we eat like 2-4 pieces of strawberries per day, while it lasts. The season for fruit is very sort where we live, in Scotland. We used to grow our own veg, herbs and fruit, now our garden is just a fruit and herb garden. (Green herbs and garlic does not cause any issues for us, so I use them here and there.) Plus we have a great variety of poultry for eggs and meat, we raise chickens, ducks, guinea fowls and turkeys. Thankfully the fruit does not cause any problems, so we eat them while they last. Not a lot, not every day of the year. And we feel equally as good, actually even better, because of the variety of flavours and textures. I still miss the veg, but hey ho, vegetables proved that they do not love me back. So good bye veg.

@littlefarmer1303 Study the longest lived and they are mostly vegetarian......this has been common knowledge for decades. I'm open to what's best for all of us, looking at mans digestive system it resembles that of herbivores & omnivores, not so much carnivore.

@@HCallahan This was exactly what I thought for years, but finally my eyes are open. There is a massive difference between honest science and bad science. It matters who is behind the studies.
