Hi loves, in this video I dye my hair from Red to Black at home using the Loreal HiColor For dark hair and I must say I am so happy with the way it turned out. I hope this video helps you to DIY 😉

You are beatiful and black looks awesome. This is what I needed to watch. I have naturally dark brown hair and I can never have blonde or red and I'm tired of dying it so I'm going to dye it black and keep it black

It becomes black with the heat of your scalp. Or if u let it sit long enough

Hey girl! Ive been using the onyx dye on my hair. I love it because i dont get a red tint when it fades as it would with a previous dye i used. But im debating whether i should go to a salon to get a deeper blue black. Do you think the dye they use at salons is better?? I believe they use matrix, never used that brand

Honestly I’ve done black in the salon and it fades just as fast as when doing it myself. I don’t think their products are better. I’ve also done blue black at salons and by myself and it only looks bluish for like a week. Let me know if u find some trick I don’t know about to keep it blueish 🤪

I have my hair bright red right now and I really want to dye it black. It fades right? If so doesn’t it still look at least like a dark brownish?

Yea mine picked up the black very well but in two weeks it was brown 🤨 I liked it tho it was nice

Yes it’s two oz of developer per tube of hair dye. So in this video I used two tubes of dye and 4oz of 20 developer 🥰

Is black hair dye supposed to look a little purple, and can i dye my red hair with black without bleaching it

B M oh yea u can definitely go black from any color. If you are a blond it will fade into a greenish brown so you will definitely need to dye it a decline round. But if your hair color is in the darker tones it will stick without a problem.

How does this one look when light peaks through? I hate how the blacks look burgundy or red and you can tell it's dyed black. Did it wash out? Thanks!

It did 🥹 but this was a long time ago. I went to get it done professionally one time and they did a Botox before doing the color and it did not fade for a long time. Eventually it did but very evenly

Both colors are real pretty but you have to make sure that you go black you are ready to keep it for a long long time. Because it doesn’t easily come off without bleaching

It became like a brown. Kept fading till becoming really ashy. If you watch my last video with Gymshark try on that is the lightest it got. I just dyed it black again last week 💕

How long did it last? Does it fade quickly? I've never had black hair before I'm a natural blonde with red hair currently and wanna try this!

Oh yes it definitely fades fast mostly if your hair is light. It only stays super black for like 2 weeks

@@AstridGabriella_ does the red start to peek through or does it straight up just fade back to red? Right now I have the loreal chrome red sangria in my hair but eventually wanna go black

Mine faded into a brown. Not really back to the original red but it definitely peeks through
