Are you chasing instant gratification or long-term fulfillment?
Imagine you’ve MADE IT. You have created the life you have always dreamed of. You’re living in a mansion, driving the expensive cars, eating at 5-star restaurants, and enjoying life like never before… Just to wake up and watch it slip right through your fingers.
What would you do?
How would you feel?
Whom would you blame?
That’s exactly what happened with my next guest, the amazing, Dhar Mann. After losing it all, Dhar took $600 and turned it into an 8 figure business!
If you aren’t already one of his raving fans, Dhar is a social media expert that creates some of the most captivating content I’ve ever seen. Even after taking a break from social media for 4 years, he has grown to over 10 million followers across his platforms and averages a BILLION views a month! Social media makes it looks like success happens overnight… NOT TRUE! This is a REAL success story.
The reason I love Dhar’s story so much is because he struggled with what MANY of us do; chasing short-term, instantaneous pleasure! Instant gratification feels good at the moment, but will eventually turn into a hollow void.
In this interview, Dhar shares how this type of darkness weighed on him even before he lost everything and the million-dollar question that changed the trajectory of his life when he was at his worst. Find out what it takes to go from having it all, to losing everything and rising again from the ashes.
Of course, I wouldn’t bring on a social media EXPERT without getting tactical! Dhar reveals the 7 MAJOR KEYS you need to know in order to GROW on your social media platforms that you won’t hear anywhere else!
Not only is this one of my favorite stories that I KNOW you need to hear, but you’ll also want to get your pen and paper ready for this social media crash course.

That shedded so much light on my perspective about social media. I’m a people person so I love direct human interaction and I’ve always thought I can help people better if I actually talk to them face to face but I realize that I’ve been looking at the wrong content because there is actually good morals on social media

This is fire Ed, this is the kind of hope I needed. I'm 33 years old and feel so lost trying to figure out who I am and what path to take. I've been trying to figure it out for soo long and sometimes I feel like I'm getting no where on my quest to evolve. I just wish we can go back to the caveman days where money, social media, mansions, McDonald's etc. didn't exist, maybe than I wouldn't be distracted and would know exactly who I was as a person.

Needed this more than you know... When were in that dark place is when everyone around us is telling us its over, get a job, do something normal or I told you it wouldn't work out. It is such a blessing to have these videos and stories of individuals who have went through something similar or worse.... and for a brief 45 minutes we have something positive to listen to telling us were not crazy to keep fighting to keep swinging that its not over !!!! I am so thankful for Ed Mylett and everyone he interviews

This video was truly God inspired for me. I’m 50 years old and recently retired from a fulfilling career that was very stressful. I’m clearly to young to retire so I started planning two years out on my next passion and followed through. Well my prior job limited me from social media use due to potential danger to my family and me. However, my new endeavor is all about navigating social media. So listening to another one of your great videos has been truly inspirational and encouraging. As my new endeavor has been a learning curve. Thank you Ed and Dhar!

Now I have many that are following my next chapter journey on FB. I never started it to create an audience. I was sharing my journey to show how wonderful and joyful and yet difficult it is to take care of a parent. So many tips I take away on inspiring my community. Thank you Ed and Dhar! #maxout

I love it .. it's such a great point in regards to positive thinking, making decisions, from being in the top and at some point dropping so low can be the hardest punch in the face in life wondering and asking your self what am I going to do...stressing out..and actually situations like this actually shows you who's your real friend and who's not....but at the being alone or not starting from scratching the bottom and proving your self you can do it and keep it going, it's an amazing advice , that could say deeply from the bottom of my heart I can say certain things from this video messege I can personally relate to it ...I love it ❤....thanks

I’ve been on this journey to help people with their hardships because My wife and I didn’t have any help and I don’t necessarily mean money although we have helped with money but more importantly giving advice and a sense of hope when they have none so I’m so glad and appreciative that there are people who share that same need to be there for others even if it’s simple because to those we help it’s huge

Hi, Have seen Dhar on another interview podcast, but the tactical content is soooo deep! I love that you don't have to post every day (currently on a 30-day challenge of FB go live). Have been topical in my posts, and have heard I should document my journey before. This compelling story has tipped the scale and today's go live will be sharing what happened to me today with my perspective on one story from today. Obviously Dhar is scripting his perspective pieces. Curious about the unscripted content, which is how I've been rolling for almost two weeks now. Thanks for the insight and another amazing interview.

@@EdMylettShow I enjoy ALL of your Video's big brother #MAXOUT. But he made a massive point about **how your action's determine the type's of people that you attract into your life** !!! Possession's attract Possession Seeker's ETC. Also the R.A.S. that I thank God you brought into my Attention - he stayed Focused on the Light despite all of the Darkness around him. Also I like how you pointed out the difference in Motivational Content & inspirational Content. But let me tell you , YOUR CHANNEL IS A GOLDEN NUGGET IN ITSELF. Word's do Not do any Justice. My name is Andrew Jay Brittain I'm 24 years old from the Great American City of Lawton Oklahoma, my parents divorced when I was 4 years old my Dad left me my brother & my sister then my only Parent my Single-Mom Tammy Brittain had a Massive Stroke when I was 11 Years Old. The Doctor's told me that it was a medical miracle that she was even still alive. & We still have to live with all of this of course. I fell into a bad path got addicted to opioid prescriptions after I had all 4 of my Wisdom Teeth cut out at once in 2010 (bad idea). Got Dry Sockets they were still prescribing me opioids 5 month's later smh. I foolishly allowed myself to go into that Trap, I irresponsibly walked into that Vice. But I went to Rehab on March 1st 2015 & I've been 100% clean for 5 Year's Now , & since then I have been working very hard to make my impact & to contribute something much greater to this World and I know I will be Victorious when its Said & Done. It's still a daily battle but I do know that I will never EVER give up MY MOTHER DID NOT RAISE A QUITTER !!!!!!! I'm truly working from the ground up I have learned everything I know from my own independent research. & I am now hellbent on my Mission. I'm a Psycho for my Passion's & Goal's. I'm determined to not let any of that turn me into another statistic & SO determined to not let any of those bad people bring me down as im still living with the consequences of being around those people year's after the fact even though I have long changed my entire Circle & my Mindset. When I was young as long as I remember I ALWAYS had a special feeling in my Gut & felt that I was destined for something. Also as you pointed out in another video I had many people who saw that unwavering Spirit within me & they are all still watching me very closely I know they are praying for me everyday. When my parents split it changed my entire Trajectory. If my Dad woulda stayed our house would've been paid off by the time I was 12 years old , but since he left & refused to pay child support etc , I am still helping my Mom make those House Payments to this Day. & For Me , unfortunately Trauma doesn't make me forget , instead Trauma carves those memories into my mind so I have to battle my ghosts. I'm in the process of Launching a new Brand as well as figuring out how to best tell my story. BUT thanks to that trauma I have developed a Great Memory in the Process and I am HELLBENT on fulfilling my Destiny DESPITE all of that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I firmly agree with you that nothing happens TO you , everything happens FOR you! Although it can be hard to decipher at times lol. I've noticed we all love to read books but we rarely read our own book that we write the page to everyday!!!! Anyway I just want you to know that I have great Love Respect & Admiration for you Ed. Sometimes I wonder if you truly know just how big your impact TRULY IS. These thing's are INVALUABLE , & Grant Cardone could take a lesson from this!!!! ;) But I fully support what you are doing & I just want to give you a HEARTFELT sincere THANK YOU for the impact you have had on my entire family's life. My Mom even watches your Videos which is a 1st. From my entire Family we have much love & respect and I just really want to take the time to demonstrate my thankfulness. It all bring's me to tear's everytime man. This stuff is deeper than Words its deeper than everything. Sorry for the Novel i'm well known to be much more articulate than most lol so sorry for the Novel I just truly feel obligated to take the time to state this message whether you're able to read this or not. Much Love & Respect!!!!!!

You’ve had so many truly impactful guests on your show, but I believe this interview may be transformative! I hope my story can help others the way that Dhar’s story has helped millions. What’s interesting is that I’m 25 years older, yet we share a similar framework of success, disappointment, stress, anxiety, and a road back, with the goal of inspiring. I absolutely love your perspective regarding motivation vs. inspiration! So many of us mix the two thoughts and then are surprised when we don’t get the results we’re expecting! As an aside, who would’ve thought FaceBook was the place to grow! Thank You, Ed, and Dhar, for your time and the powerful story you shared today! When your virtual mentor gets excited and inspired, it’s Time To Listen!!! #MAXOUT

Love stories like this. I always describe the hard knocks of life like a lizard with its tail cut-off; what happens? It grows back thicker and stronger than ever before so watch out. Correct, most people give up vs. looking at the next opportunity or idea that presents itself. Life is like a roller coaster, very seldom do people have a life that never has up’s and down’s. When you go down, how will you get back up? That’s the bread and butter of life that builds character and makes you who YOU are.

Well, since you’ve asked, I’ve really been wanting to see you interview Mark Bell (Slingshot). But also, Graham Stephan, Patrick Bet-David?? I think most of us love to hear “regular people” achieve massive success. It’s what we’re all chasing. The more stories that hit close to home, the closer I am to finding my vehicle for success!

@@EdMylettShow 2 things really resonated with me. #1 is shifting from motivational to inspirational content. #2 is that gaining followers takes time. I started my KZfaq channel and Instagram because you inspired me Ed. My goal is to help people by sharing some strategies that have changed my life.

Because of this video, i am looking into creating another fb page to bring ppl along on my fat loss journey. I have no idea how it works, or if it will work at all with only an android phone & basic internet at home, but im hoping to inspire at least one person to start their own healthy journey. Thanks again for this video!
