Thanks for another video on the great Spanish rail system and this looks like a really interesting regional journey. The gauge changing seems miraculous to me. Looking forward to seeing you review the Swiss gauge changing trains when they go into service too.

Great video! The renfe station in San Sebastian is currently being completely rebuilt. The new station should open in 2025. Also, in 2025, the Amara euskotren station will be replaced by two underground stations in the the city centre. Last, they are also going to be build a new station connecting renfe cercanias and euskotren.

Oh that is absolutely great news. Integration would be very much appreciated. In Bilbao this is a bit better (could be improved however that doesn't make a lot of sense if you count costs / benefits, etc.). I like that Spain is investing so much in infrastructure. Some things are really good like what you mentioned in San Sebastian, but some other things are extremely pricy and give only small time efforts (like a bridge on the line to Granada, would be a win of approximately 3 minutes and the costs are extremely high, I rather see something to make Euskotren faster and frequency is also really a thing in Spain, it's too low).

Fun fact! At 13:46 you captured the "Platanito" or class 443, based on the italian 401, which served as a prototype and now sits abandoned in Castejón.

Thanks for the great videos I will be traveling from southern Spain in September to Galicia and the Basque using the Alvia to Santiago. I was not able to watch your video from Bilbao to San Sebastian, it said it was private

Hey, so nice. The Bilbao to San Sebastian is not published yet but if you see the San Sebastian to Hendaye video, those trains are pretty much the same (however trains between San Sebastian and Bilbao do have a toilet).

Great video 5:18 the .05 is because is the second batch of the 120 series and that series the diference are. The ligths. The original 120 series has circular headligths. The 120.05 can go to the Guadarrama tunel on the HS line from Madrid to the north the 120 original cant. The year of bulding 120 (2004-2006) 120.5(2006-2008). And that the 120.05 has power plugs and the 120 dont. Hohully that usefull info for you.
