Pretty sure Thatcher, Cameron and May were not FORCED to resign. They simply chose to do so. Thatcher felt disheartened by not beating Heseltine outright in the first round of votes in his leadership bid. Had she gone on, she probably still would have beaten him and remained Prime Minister. Cameron resigned because he simply didn't believe in Brexit (quite right, too) and May had planned to resign even before her deal with the EU was rejected for a third time.

Such a Parcel of Rogues in a Nation! As William Blake rightfully states, "Cruelty has a human heart, and Jealousy a human face, Terror the human form divine, and Secrecy the human dress. The human dress is forged iron, The human form a fiery forge, The human face a furnace sealed, The human heart its hungry gorge".

I did not witness thatcher I was too small but I think the best and quick resignation was the David Cameron, when he realised he messed up he straight away resigned! I hated Teresa May because of Boris spreading negativity and using Brexit as weapon to get rid of her. But now I have lots of respect for her! My 1sf ever vote went to Boris , 2nd Lib Dem and 3rd will be Labour next election. Then only my gutted soul will find peace ☮️ !
