Today we are premiering the 2006 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show right here. Get to know some of the dogs that competed for Best in Show that year. From the Herding Group, Ch Bugaboo's Big Resolution "Smokin" an Old English Sheepdog. From the Hound Group, Ch. Thistleglen Margot, "Margot," a Scottish Deerhound. Fun fact, our 2022 Best in Show Judge, Dr. Don Sturz, chose this Deerhound as the winner of the Hound Group. From the Toy Group, Ch. Kendoric's Riversong Mulroney "Dermot" a Pug. Fun fact, Dermont was the 7th Pug to have won the Toy Group at WKC. From the Terrier Group, Ch. Rocky Top's Sundance Kid, "Rufus," a Colored Bull Terrier. From the Sporting Group, Ch. Chuckanut Party Favour O Novel "Andy" a Golden Retriever. Fun fact, Andy was shown by one of his owners to this historic win. From the Non-Sporting Group, Ch. Merry Go Round Mach Ten, "Boomer," a Dalmatian. Finally, Ch. Carter's Noble Shaka Zulu "Shaka," a Rottweiler from the Working Group. "Shaka" was handled by his Breeder- Owner- Handler, Keith Carter, and was the first Rottweiler to win the Working Group at the WKC Dog Show.
