James “Jim” Buchanan Hilliard my great great grandfather had a blacksmith shop behind his house. He had a forge and reworked horse shoes and everything that he needed to repair. My grandfather Johnie Wilson Hilliard had it in his shop until he past way. He used it to repair tractors. Now I own it and I plan on continuing to put it to use.

Wow, I have never seen an anvil fracture like that before, I have seen horns and tails break off and even the face delaminate, good job sir, thank you for sharing.
