We are removing the front beam, trimming the front of the body and preparing the materials for the DIY volksrod / Baja/ ratrod build.

Hey Gary! Keep things going great. Add oversize pipes for the exhaust. Last time I tried to remove the bonnet (hood) like you did I got a big headache. You should have sprayed the penetrating oil for about 3 days each day before breaking things loose. When you finally finish this project, you will have extra nuts and bolts leftover. Moe

Hey Moe! How did you survive the storm? I’ve already gone through about a can of PB Blast on this car before it even made it to the garage. Slowly soaking everything else now to help me in the long run. I’ve got some exhaust ideas going right now but that’s so far down the road I have plenty of time. @@VWJawbreaker Laura peed on us a little and blew some trees down in other yards. Not too much water at our house, but one of the intersections nearby was flooded for about 3 hours. Everything was shut down so that didn't matter anyway. Had nowhere to go. Keep up the great entertaining work. Maybe a GM 501 engine in the backseat. Some buggy.
