You have proper audio driver installed. But if still front panel audio is not working. What will you do now? This is happened to myself too. I bought a new desktop computer. I have installed windows 10. But front panel audio jacks are not working. I have installed original audio driver and updated online. But same problem. Front panel audio not working on windows 10.
Then I have formatted computer and installed windows 7 sp1. Similarly installed original sound driver. Even on windows 7, the sound is not working on front panel jack. but rear jacks are working on both windows 7 and windows 10. I thought the problem is on motherboard. But,...

this worked for me too! when you get to the control panel > sound > manage audio device and right click on the device then disable and enable again.

Before watching this video , uninstalled / installed 6-7 times diff drivers. Tried some other various methods. 2 times checked the physical connection. Spent around 3 hrs goofing around. Finally frustrated watched this one. Just 5 min, disabled the front panel audio detection and it worked . Thank you bro.

thanks bro.. In my case I dont have the Realtek in the Control Panel. I just searched it in the windows search bar and Realtek Audio console show up. Then I enabled the "Disable front panel popup dialog".

This was tricky with Windows 11 as I couldn’t find the Realtek program anywhere for download. Installing the Realtek Audio Control finally made this work with the Asus z690 hero. It’s hidden in the audio driver files under UWP. Jeez this was more annoying than it had to be so I appreciate your guidance!

@@TreaskiReacts Oh man, it's been a year so I forget exactly what I did but I think I looked up the drivers available for download on the site for the motherboard I have which included Realtek Drivers. The thing I needed to use to install them was tucked away in the UWP folder from those files. The other ones I tried executing weren't working but that one finally did. Following the steps on this vid helped me sort it all out overall.
