This was very well explained and demonstrated. It was very pleasing when the last bit of the tyre popped in! Thanks for sharing this. I feel a lot more confident about doing it properly now.

It is very kind of you to take the time to share with others, there is no doubt this will benefit many. The ceat tires are not as stiff compared to other manufacturers. Well done! Regards from maine USA.

I would like to thank you immensely. I live in Brazil and I have a Himalayan. Your videos are very educational and important to me. They are enlightening and help a lot for basic maintenance. Again, thank you very much for your posts.

Another very good video - in 50+ years riding I’ve done this many times, but it’s always good to watch someone else and pick up another tip! Changing tyres should hold no fears, but somehow there is always a little frisson when the tyre is on and the air stays in!!

Thanks mate, Have thus far stuck with changing tires myself, Keeps me trained, which has once come in handy while fixing a puncture in the middle of nowhere 😉

Exactly so - I could pay but somehow it feels lazy, and while 🤞 I haven’t fixed a puncture at the roadside for many years, there is great security in knowing I can (still) do it & of course I still have the £60 I didn’t pay the shop to do the job I can do myself! I see you have the new 450, they’re now in UK and a bit tempting, but how can I dump my faithful old friend? Well we’ll see in a while!

My pleasure mate, hope this helps, just remember the key to simply get it on is thin layer of oil on bead that is still out and bringing it to the center of the rim as we go along. Happy DIYing, cheers :)

Hey i wanted to enquire about something..... So over time bits of dust and dirt obviously gets accumulated inside the interior of the silencer / exhaust.... So is there any way or technique to clean that out?
@dmagp

Just wanted to know you have inserted a bolt with the tube under the rim which may cause rust in winter seasons, alternative you would have choosen an aluminium washer kind which will have gap filler between the air inlet mouth nd the rim

Bro how do you deal with a puncture on the rear tyre of Himalayan? Do you carry your own puncture repairing tools or you use any type of anti puncture gel in your tyre?

Hi. Any reason why havent you gotten any auxillary lights? Its terrifying to ride highways at night with stock lights for me.

Hey mate, I am not a big fan of auxiliary lamps and find them to be annoying and a nuisance for the on coming traffic. I have experimented with other bulbs and now running LED, will share a vid soon cheers

First of, Thank you so much for this knowledge you are sharing in your channel. I have a few questions regarding other videos - I have a royal Enfield scram 411 and wanted to make sure if some of your recommendations are still valid. I believe the engine is same as Himalayan BS-6. Is it still recommended to change the spark plugs into - CR8EIX - BY NGK? (the shops in the ciry I'm at in India don't have this specific model. do you know of a Bosch one that performs the same?) You recommended to change the relay for fuel pump into - Roots 12v 25 amp. I think it's a 5 pin micro relay but the one in the scram has 4 pins. Can you recommend the right model that would fit? (do you also recommend to change the other 4 relay to the same model?) Last question (apologies for the long message..) In your view, What are the most recommended (and not too complicated) upgrades one should make on the bike for better, smoother and enjoyable ride? Thanks again.

fuse??
@leuheanrede
@leuheanrede Жыл бұрын
Hey mate, indeed fuse would be the first place to look for, next would be the sensors on both front and back wheel and make sure the wiring is not damaged or cut. then check the wiring harness bracket that fits into the ABS module Cheers
