Caution is warranted against drawing too much into the vote count (and juxtaspositioning it with voter enthusiasm) for 2 reasons. 1) Absolutes vs Relatives. The number of people voting has gone up in absolute sense. 2) The question of whose voter stayed away? Were they INC supporters who gave up or was it BJP supporters taking things for granted. In addition, an expert like Rahul Verma is saying that its too early to judge the voter count. June 4 will clear all doubts.

I think they had the slogan of “abki baar, 400 paar” as their flagship cry but they quickly realised it was going against them as the opposition managed to create doubts in the minds of many regarding the motive for seeking such a huge mandate - especially with doubts about changing the constitution and doing away with reservations. Modi quickly realised the inherent danger and to deflect attention, he brought in the harsh Muslim rhetoric. To a large extent he has been successful but is now without a rallying war cry for the election.

Worked as a part time nurse and a clerk. Bought Tata Ace (chhota haathi) started earning via it. Left both the jobs.... And has a legit transport buisness. He works only 3 hours a day and most of his job is done on the telephone. The middle class have to realise short cuts are not the way. The time when degree meant job was over by early 2000s. Its getting skill based just like it has always been across the history of humanity. Now go to colleges for gaining knowldge and skills. Not degrees. And actually just think about a college student - go to social media and see what a college student means? It simply means drinking, partying, and spending parents money. While being completely oblivious to why you are in college for the first place. Even IITians.... And UPSC aspirants. Their biggest achievement is getting into the IIT. Most of them are shit engineers. The Upsc aspirants Crack Upsc and become Shit administrators. They have zero management skills, most of them will be fired in the first week they join a corporate management position. Most of the middle class in India doesn't value education as a tool to empower. They value Degrees and the letters after your name. Not the knowldge. Take for example doctors. Most of you will go to the doctor who has maximum degrees. I have seldom seen any doctor in the west add 20 degrees after his name. There doctors get evaluated on how they talk, how they explain, how straight talking they are, how well they can explain, how open they are to communication etc etc. Sorry to say... Indeed very correctly put by shekhar ji, what is not clear is why bjp a polling machine didn’t create a proper poll plank and strategy instead is relying on such tactics. As a long devoted BJP voter, I still wait for a positive bjp campaign, for us congress neither was, nor is and not will be an option. But we still deserve to know where BJP will take our country as we keep giving it clear mandates with full majority.

Phase-1 : less percentage means no wave….. Phase-2 : Suddenly BJP getting tough fight in their bastion means no campaign theme from Modi Phase-3 : will be “ more seats winning from INDI group Reality Phase-1: Highest number of voters registered however, percentage may be low. Lets say there is neither pro and anti incumbency This is due to high base effect . To get pro incumbency on the base of 303 seats is very very difficult. Seems everyone taken “400 so par Nara” seriously. Phase-2: Pattern is very clear. Modi ji changed tone of the campaign when elections reached from south to north and I guess he will change further in coming days according to his audiance. Say “Pak,china and Muslims” may not work in south part of India. Let’s see what happens in Phase-3, But one thing is clear “This elections may be dull and low prevent” but defiantly defining elections for Future of Bharat I.e India.

I don't know about others but this approach has worked with me. I had voted NOTA in all previous elections since I didn't like elections being fought on either caste or religious basis. But this is the first time I am going to vote for BJP more as an anti-Congress vote than a pro-BJP vote. We cannot allow Rahul Gandhi to take India back to the socialist times of his ancestors after all the non-Gandhi PMs have done so much to undo that since the 90s.

Modiji is right in pointing out dangerous ideas mentioned in Congress party menifesto. BJP has delivered on critical national security issues like Article 370, NRC in Assam, Surgical strike etc. It's natural for some people to forget repeated terrorists attack in all major cities in India pre-2014. A vote for Congress is vote for wealth snatching from prosperous tax paying Hindu families and more division of Hindus along caste lines. We can't bring back the days of muslim appeasement, low growth rate, high inflation and weak national security.

I saw an interesting debate in 2014 in NDTV with Pronoy, SG and Swapan. SG was not seeing Modi wave, but was sincerely worried about UPA. Circa 2019 the same group in NDTV, that time SG was more careful and Pronoy looked worried on congress coming back. NDA swept both election and Modi wave continued. Now every knows, but they are not able grapple with reality.

Poorly researched. Poll campaign?? 'Modi ki Guarantee' is there since start. i did hear Ram temple in many of Modi's speaches about turning it into a reality and blaming congress for not attending inaugration. Also about no terrorist attacks on civilians happening in 10 yrs in the country(except kashmir as we all know) He has also mentioned 370 in his speaches. And many more like one about 'Modi ki Guarantee' of welfare schemes etc. He started with wealth redist only after 1st phase. I am not sure what SG wants to say here because all the things he mentioned are in many of Modi's speaches. We just dont know because we are only seeing excerpts on YT and not the complete speach but people in the rally hear it.

I am sure you will also say that youth will get employment when semicon companies that are under construction start functioning.

Actually, there is some flaw in your analysis. It is the incumbent raises the voice. The person in power want silence so he could praise his work . But due the congress feels it cannot win they are not campaigning as hard . They are living in their ac party houses.
